Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria showed their support for their local community in The Hamptons by attending a fundraiser at the East Hampton Library on Saturday.
The couple were on hand for the East Hampton Library's 20th Annual Authors Night Benefit at Herrick Park Field.
No less than 100 authors from across every genre of writing are featured, which is typically a big hit with residents, making it one of the most successful celebrations of book and authors in the U.S, as per the official website.
Situated under a grand tent, where tasty treats and wine are offered up, attendees can walk around, meet and mingle with the authors, with the opportunity to dissect their writings and ultimately have the opportunity to buy their signed books.
The event kicked off at 5 p.m. ET, giving people three hours to learn who and what is available on the scene.

At 8 o'clock, directly following the Authors Reception, guests dined at dinner parties at private homes in honor of one or more of the great authors.
Baldwin, 66, took the opportunity to help promote Adam Nagourney's The Times: How The Newspaper Of Record Survived Scandal, Scorn, and the Transformation Of Journalism by holding it for a photographer as he stood alongside his wife under the tent.
The father of seven kept it casual in dark gray slacks and a light gray Polo shirt, while his fashionable wife of 12 years looked summer-ready in a black dress that hugged her fit figure.
In keeping with the relaxed atmosphere, the author, entrepreneur, and Yoga instructor also donned flip-flops and sunglasses.
All the event proceeds, which included the $150 entree fee and dinner deals starting at $500, will benefit the East Hampton Library.

Alec's outing comes nearly a month after he had his involuntary manslaughter charge against him dismissed in New Mexico in connection to the 2021 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film Rust.

The case was thrown out when the judge agreed that prosecutor Kari Morrissey and Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza withheld evidence about the source of the live round that killed Hutchins on the set.
Hutchins died when Baldwin pointed a gun at her as they set up a camera shot on a movie set near Santa Fe. The gun fired a live round inadvertently loaded by the movie's chief weapons handler Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.
Gutierrez-Reed, serving an 18-month prison sentence, filed a motion for dismissal of charges in response to the prosecutors' failures to disclose evidence.

Their new reality series is slated to air on the TLC network sometime in 2025.
