Jennifer Lopez tenderly kisses Jharrel Jerome's forehead in the first look photo from their new film, Unstoppable. 

Amazon MGM studios released the photo of from the film produced by Lopez's allegedly estranged husband Ben Affleck on Thursday. 

In the fact-based drama, the actress, 55,  stars as Judy, the mother of wrestler Anthony Lopez. 

'Anthony Robles, despite being born without a right leg, rises to become a NCAA Division 1 Champion wrestler ultimately winning a national championship against the school that rejected him, national powerhouse Iowa,' according to the film's synopsis.

Lopez won a national championship in 2011 while wrestling for Arizona State University.

Robles served as a producer on the project and stepped in as Jerome’s stunt double to perform the more complex wrestling moves. 

The movie is based on his memoir, Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion.

Michael Peña plays high school wrestling coach Bobby Williams, and Don Cheadle takes on the role of ASU's wrestling coach Shawn Charles.

Robles had an impressive record, going 96-0 during his high school career.

In college, he was a three-time PAC-12 champion, a three-time All-American and a national champion in 2011. 

The star athlete has come full circle - returning to his alma mater, Mesa High School, where he was hired as the head wrestling coach in March 2022.

Jerome, 26, who starred in the Emmy winning series When They See Us, told Vanity Fair, 'I think it’s so special when an actor gets to portray a real-life person, the challenges that come with that and the justice.'

On tackling the part, Jerome, 26 told Vanity Fair, 'Before you even meet him, you can see the confidence and the fight that he has in him... 'And then when you meet him, you see that light and you have no choice but to go, "I want to tell your story"'

The actor did some research into the man he would portray on the big screen.

'Before you even meet him, you can see the confidence and the fight that he has in him—just on YouTube looking at his wrestling videos, just watching his interviews,' he told the outlet.

'And then when you meet him, you see that light and you have no choice but to go, "I want to tell your story."'

Unstoppable will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
