Mariah Carey's ex Nick Cannon says he'd 'absolutely' get back together with singer - but fears 'she don't want me'

Nick Cannon has admitted he still has feelings for ex-wife Mariah Carey despite the couple divorcing more than eight years ago.

The Drumline star, 43 told E! News on Tuesday that he would 'absolutely' get back together, saying they 'belong together' and joked she was the one who got away.

When asked if he would pursue a relationship with her again he added, 'Yes, absolutely. Be stupid if I wouldn’t.'

However, the comedian admitted there was one problem with feeling towards the 55-year-old superstar.

'She don’t want me,' he said.

His close friend and We Playin’ Spades cohost Courtney Bee who was also present, quipped: 'Yeah, you done left and had like 10 kids.'

The father-of-twelve — who recently treated five of them to an epic McDonalds and Nobu run — laughed and agreed with his pal: 'A whole baseball team, like, "No, you can't come back home.'

Cannon, from San Diego, has a well blended family with children with six different women.

But he explained all of his former loves — Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, Alyssa Scott and Mariah — get along 'amazing.'

'Everybody lives their own life, before me and after me,' he said.

'So I think that's how you keep the peace and everybody moving, like everybody worried about themselves and not worried about what someone else is.

'As long as the kids are happy and they have the strongest understanding, I think that's what makes sense. You gotta operate out of that,' he added.

With Mariah, Nick explained their co-parenting days were coming to an end as the twins they share are already teens.

'We gonna be done soon,' he finished. 'We got teenagers now. I'm about to shed a tear. It's happening too fast.'
