Kelsea Ballerini used social media on Thursday to promote her upcoming album Patterns, due out this fall.

The country music star, 30 — who is dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes — took to Instagram to announce that her next single, Sorry Mom, will come out on Friday.

And the blonde beauty unveiled the album cover art, which is a moody snapshot of her sitting atop a mound of luggage on a beach as the sun sets.

'PATTERNS. October 25th. Sorry Mom, out tonight at midnight. let's start unpacking…' she teased in a caption to her 4.1 million followers.

Ballerini, who has joined The Voice as a judge, told the Associated Press about the new music, 'I think that people probably expect this really happy-go-lucky, love, mushy, gushy record from me. That's not the case.'

Ballerini invited fans to join a streaming party for her new single.

'You're invited to a Sorry Mom Stationhead streaming party,' the flyer read, including the info, 'Friday 8/9 5PM ET / 4PM CT/ 2PM PT.'

The singer-songwriter explained to the AP why she's proud of her new collection of songs.

'It would have been easy to, I think, just collect the really beautiful parts of my life that I've dusted off and found the last couple of years. But that's not the fullness of my experience,' she opened up.

Ahead of Sorry Mom Kelsea previously released Cowboys Cry Too, which features Noah Kahan.

Via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Kelsea teased a snippet of her new tune and said it's 'maybe my favorite song I've ever written.'

In one part of it she sings, 'I turned out alright / so you can sleep good at night / maybe I ran all the red lights / maybe we got into a few fights.'

Sharing more about the number, she shared, 'The first line is, 'Sorry, mom, I smelled like cigarettes.' You know, it's the things that your mom doesn't really want to hear. But then you get to the chorus and the meat of it and the heart of it, and it's a letter of thanks to my mom for raising me the way she did.'
