Reese Witherspoon is spending quality time with her eldest son Deacon Phillippe, 20, this summer in Los Angeles before he returns to New York for college.
On Friday, the Legally Blonde star, 48, took to Instagram to share two portraits of herself and her son hanging out by the ocean.
'Summer nights with this guy are the best @deaconphillippe,' Reese gushed in the caption.
Deacon is currently studying music at New York University and lives in a two-level apartment with pals in Greenwich Village.
And Reese looked every bit the proud mom as she smiled beside the young man in Friday's photos.
