Jennifer Lawrence delivers 1980s nostalgia as she steps out wearing JELLY SHOES in New York City

And the 33-year-old Hunger Games star delivered some 1980s nostalgia on Wednesday as she stepped out in New York City.

Lawrence was spotted strolling the sidewalk in a pair of clear jelly shoes.

Jelly shoes — commonly referred to as 'jellies' — are a PVC plastic shoe that date back to the 1940s but didn't reach mainstream popularity until the mid-1980s.

The beloved yet controversial sandals have come back in style several times over the years, including a period in the 1990s and the early 2000s.

Recently, Jellies have found their way back into the wardrobes of young Millennials and Zoomers due to their virality on TikTok.

The No Hard Feelings star styled her see-through sandals with a pair of loose-fitting white trousers and a matching scoopneck tank top.

She layered a bright yellow button-up blouse with floral embroidery on the front pocket over her low-cut top.

Jennifer's long golden blonde hair flowed down her back and chest in wavy strands.
