Earlier in the week, the actress, who stars as Bailey Nune on the hit police procedural, shared on social media that she received a warm welcome from The Rookie production.
She also highlighted some of the more lighthearted challenges that come with being a working mom.
'Please note the two different shoes that I put on my body at 5am this morning,' she wrote on her Instagram, pointing to the mis-matched sneakers she wore to set.
The posts follow Jenna's recent update on her battle with mastitis, a condition that causes painful swelling and warmth in the breasts, often linked to breastfeeding.
The star revealed the remedies that helped soothe her discomfort.
She wrote to her nearly 10 million followers, 'All of your suggestions were amazing, thank you! What an experience to show how powerful and supportive we can all be for each other.'
'This is what worked for me,' she began before starting the list with 'cold compresses, cabbage and thinly sliced potatoes after feeds.'
She added: 'Hot epsom salt baths to help with the shaking (that part was honestly wild).'

Jenna is also mom to 11-year-old daughter Everly 'Evie' Tatum — whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum — and her and Steve's four-year-old son Callum.

Jenna announced her pregnancy with Rhiannon back in January with video of her taking a bath with her baby bump in full view.
At the time, Jenna revealed in her interview with Romper magazine that she and Steve decided not to find out the sex of the baby.
The star also said it will be her last pregnancy.
'You don't race to the end because this is the last time. So there's a bit of joy and a little sadness. I'm really trying to enjoy it all and not try to just get through the days.'
