Gwen Stefani CANCELS Atlantic City concert due to injury on advice of doctors telling fans: 'I'm so sorry'

Gwen Stefani regretfully had to cancel her concert at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City on August 17 due to an injury.

The Hollaback Girl singer, 54, took to her Instagram Stories to break the news to her fans.

'As a result of a recent injury and in consultation with my doctors, I've been advised that I'm not able to perform on August 17 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City,' she wrote on Saturday, August 10.

The judge of The Voice did not disclose any info about what kind of injury she had.

'I'm so sorry and we are planning to reschedule the show as soon as possible. Ticketmaster will email ticket holders as soon as the new show is announced,' she continued, noting that tickets for the August 17 show would be valid for the new date.

As of this writing, the Spiderwebs singer is still scheduled to perform at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 20 as well as dates beyond that.

Last week, the No Doubt front woman's son, Zuma Rossdale, 15, made his debut as a country singer with his step father Blake Shelton, 48.

Gwen shares Zuma as well as sons Kingston, 18 and Apollo, 10, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 58.

The teenager played a few songs, including Zach Bryan's 2022 track, Oklahoma Smokeshow, to a packed crowd at Shelton's Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma while his proud mama and step father looked on.

And Zuma wasn't the first son of Gwen and Gavin to play at Shelton's bar.

Last year, Zuma's older brother Kingston gave a surprise performance at Ole Red.

Over the years, Shelton has raved about his close bond to his stepchildren.

'I have a blast with it, I'm not gonna lie. I don't take it so serious that I'm not enjoying this time because I really am. … I can't imagine my life without these kids now,' he told KFROG listeners in February 2021.

In April, he said becoming a stepfather changed him 'in every possible way.'

'I learned quickly, not because anything happened, but just, you know, reading the room, you've really got [to think], 'I have to take a step back,'' he told Entertainment Tonight.

'When people say it's not about you anymore when you have a kid...I think if you're doing it right, it's not about you anymore. That's true.'

Shelton expressed similar sentiments during an interview with People in 2022.

'They've taught me something about myself that I never knew: I'm more than just a country singer or a goofy guy,' Shelton said at the time. '

I'm someone they actually lean on, and that's not a responsibility that I ever had and not something that I ever considered even being into.'

'It's a different kind of self-worth,' he added. 'Maybe it's the opposite of self-worth because you put yourself way down on the rung, and they move up ahead of you.'
