Travis Scott's message to LeBron James is going viral as fallout from the rapper's Paris arrest continues

Travis Scott was seen cheering loudly at courtside during Team USA's comeback Olympic semifinal victory over Serbia on Thursday.

Now, after the rapper's arrest in Paris early Friday morning, his message to LeBron James, one of the main catalysts of the comeback is going viral.

'Some body tell @KingJames I need Olympic jerzzzz,' Scott posted on X during the game. 'That game was f*****g wilddddddd.'

Scott was arrested after an altercation at a five-star hotel, local media has reported.

'Policemen were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested Travis Scott for violence against a security agent. The latter had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard,' the Paris prosecutor's office said in a statement.

The American rapper, who is in Paris to attend Olympic events, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested around 5am, just steps away from the Champs-Élysées.

According to a police source to the Daily Mail, the rapper was intoxicated at the time of the confrontation.

This is not Scott's first run in with the law, as he was arrested back in June in Miami while on a yacht.

Scott was sat next to Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin for the United States' win over Serbia, which saw the American's complete a fourth-quarter comeback while starting the frame down 13 points.

James, alongside Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, were the main catalysts allowing the United States to advance to the gold medal game on Saturday against hosts France.

Scott is believed to still be in police custody in the early afternoon in Paris.
