Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals sex of her baby alongside boyfriend Ken Urker... eight months after her prison release: 'We're over the moon'

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend Ken Urker are going to be parents to a baby girl.

The Munchausen-by-proxy victim, 32 — who recently fired back at rumors that Ken is not the father of her baby — took to her Instagram on Saturday to share a video of an adorable reveal party.

The clip captured the couple standing beside a balloon arrangement, which they popped to reveal a burst of pink confetti. They then faced the camera and shared a heartfelt message to their unborn daughter.

'Sweetie, I'm your mom,' Gypsy exclaimed, with Ken chiming in, 'I'm your dad.' They both concluded together, 'It's a girl!'

Gypsy wrote in the caption: 'The moment y'all have been waiting for... It's a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and are so excited to start our family. We're so thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who came to our party today! We also want thank ya'll for your love and support!'

The reveal comes almost a month after Gypsy and Ken announced the big news of their pregnancy on her YouTube channel.

'I am 11 weeks pregnant,' she said on the video. 'Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025.

'We're both very excited - this was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected.'

Blanchard announced her separation from husband Ryan Scott Anderson in March, and said she was back with Ken Urker, 31, the following month.

Gypsy was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri in December, 2023, after serving the mandatory seven years of her 10-year sentence for conspiring to kill her mother, Dee Dee.

Prior to her December release, Gypsy revealed to People that she was planning to marry Ryan - a special ed teacher in Louisiana - a second time once she was a free woman.

'We do plan on having a reception/redo wedding with all of our family and our friends and the dress and the cake and everything because we deserve that. I deserve that. He deserves that,' she said.

'Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other. It was something that meant something to us. And I think the party is kind of for everybody else and us, but mostly for everybody else.'

Blanchard teared up in her video as she said she hopes to give her child 'all the things she wished she could have had when she was little.'

She also shared she has been experiencing 'crazy mood swings.'

Blanchard and her estranged husband Anderson married while she was in prison but their relationship fell apart just weeks after her release.

Anderson told DailyMail.com he was blindsided by Blanchard's request for a divorce, and blamed it on her relationship with Urker.

'I'm not doing well with it. For me it just came out of the blue,' he said.

'I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him,' he added, referring to Blanchard's ex-fiancé Urker.

At first, following her separation from Anderson, Blanchard insisted Urker was just a friend and there was 'no intimacy.'

While behind bars, Gypsy further cultivated a relationship with Urker, who struck up a dialogue with the then-prisoner in 2019 through a 'letter of support' he penned after watching HBO documentary Mommy Dead And Dearest.

They then became pen pals, which gave way to a romantic relationship. The two were even briefly engaged before things fizzled out.

In 2020, Blanchard found a second romantic prospect in Anderson, who, like Ken, wrote to her while she was in prison.

The two went on to tie the knot in a private ceremony that took place in the confines prison in 2022 before their separation in March.

Blanchard's traumatic childhood and early adulthood has been fodder for documentaries, movies, books and countless magazine, newspaper and online articles.

In what has become one of the best-known cases of Munchausen by proxy, Blanchard spent her childhood posing as a wheelchair bound invalid while Dee Dee subjected her to years of ill health, shaving her head, pumping her full of unnecessary medications, and convincing the world that she was suffering from leukemia and muscular dystrophy.

Blanchard's mother's stranglehold came to an end in 2015 when she persuaded the boyfriend she had met online, Nicholas Godejohn, to creep into their home in Springfield, Missouri, and stab her mother to death.
