根据本发明的一个实施例,如图2和图3中所示的致动装置33可操作地联接到显示镜组件10。当被致动时,致动装置33至少使棱镜元件12从第一观察位置移动。致动装置33还可以使整个壳体30移动。致动装置33的致动使棱镜元件12向上倾斜或旋转,以使棱镜元件12移动至两个观察位置(第二观察位置[图4B]和第三观察位置[图4C])中的一个。致动装置33还能够被配置成在激活时使显示器18移动。当处于第二观察位置时,棱镜元件12定位成朝向观察者的眼睛11反射次级反射图像19b,同时初级反射图像19a被向上反射离开观察者的眼睛。这允许驾驶员在夜间驾驶期间只看到亮度较低的次级反射图像19b,使得来自尾随车辆的大灯产生分散驾驶员注意力的眩光的可能性较低。换句话说,驾驶员看到来自棱镜元件12的前表面的反射,该反射的亮度低得多。

然而,从棱镜元件12(处于第一观察位置和第二观察位置时)的反射涂层15或前表面12a反射的光可能在显示器18打开时造成不期望的对比度降低。因此,提供第三观察位置,其中棱镜元件12更进一步地向上倾斜,使得来自棱镜元件12的反射涂层15和前表面12a二者的反射图像(19a和19b)被向上引导离开驾驶员的眼睛11。当棱镜元件12处于第三观察位置时,在日间条件下,经车辆的顶蓬25反射的环境光13(光13a)从棱镜元件12(光13b)朝向驾驶员的眼睛11被反射,使得驾驶员将只看到车辆顶蓬25的反射图像,而不是通过后窗看到的后方景象。相比通过后窗看到的后方景象的反射,来自顶蓬25的这样的反射在与来自显示器18的显示图像重叠时对驾驶员注意力的分散小得多。
尽管显示器18图示为具有与棱镜元件12的后表面12b平行的前表面,显示器18可以被布置成在棱镜元件12处于第三位置时使得显示器18的前表面与延伸至驾驶员眼睛的路径垂直的角度。

12.根据权利要求7至8中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中所述部分反射部分透射涂层设置于所述棱镜元件的整个后表面之上。
13.一种用于车辆的显示镜组件,包括:
壳体,所述壳体被配置成用于附接到车辆;
棱镜元件,所述棱镜元件定位在所述壳体中;
反射涂层,所述反射涂层设置于所述棱镜元件的后表面上,所述反射涂层具有光可以通过的透射区域;
显示器,所述显示器在所述透射区域后方所述壳体内安装于所述棱镜元件后方,以便通过所述透射区域投射光;和
致动装置,所述致动装置用于使所述棱镜元件在三个不同的观察位置之间移动,所述三个不同的观察位置包括:第一观察位置;第二观察位置,在所述第二观察位置中,所述棱镜元件比在所述第一观察位置中更高地倾斜;和第三观察位置,在所述第三观察位置中,所述棱镜元件比在所述第二观察位置中更高地倾斜,
其中所述显示器在所述棱镜元件被移动至所述第三观察位置时打开并且在所述棱镜元件被移动至所述第一观察位置或所述第二观察位置时关闭。
14.根据权利要求13所述的显示镜组件,其中,当处于所述第三观察位置时,所述棱镜元件向上倾斜,使得所述车辆的顶蓬的反射图像朝向观察者的眼睛被反射。
15.根据权利要求13和14中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中所述致动装置还使所述显示器与所述棱镜元件一起移动。
16.根据权利要求13至14中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中所述致动装置还使所述壳体与所述棱镜元件一起移动。
17.根据权利要求13至14中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中后方景象的初级反射图像从所述反射涂层被反射并且所述后方景象的次级反射图像以与所述初级反射图像不同的角度从所述棱镜元件的前表面被反射,所述初级反射图像的亮度比所述次级反射图像大,
其中:
当处于所述第一观察位置时,所述棱镜元件定位成朝向观察者的眼睛反射所述初级反射图像,
当处于所述第二观察位置时,所述棱镜元件定位成朝向所述观察者的眼睛反射所述次级反射图像,
当处于所述第三观察位置时,所述棱镜元件定位成使得所述车辆的顶蓬的反射图像朝向所述观察者的眼睛被反射,并且所述初级反射图像和所述次级反射图像都不朝向所述观察者的眼睛被反射,并且
所述显示器在所述棱镜元件处于所述第三观察位置时打开并且在所述棱镜元件处于所述第一观察位置或所述第二观察位置时关闭。
18.根据权利要求13至14中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中所述壳体具有限定了观察区域的开孔,并且其中所述显示器被配置成显示具有与所述观察区域基本相同的大小和形状的图像。
19.根据权利要求13至14中任一项所述的显示镜组件,其中所述反射涂层是设置于所述棱镜元件的整个后表面之上的部分反射部分透射涂层。
