Claims (13)
- 전자 디스플레이 구조물로서,상부면 및 하부면, 및 다수의 전기신호를 제공하는 회로를 가지는 회로기판과;미리 설정된 영역을 구비하고,상기 회로기판의 상부면에 접속되고 다수의 전기신호중 제 1 전기신호를 수신하는 제 1전극,하부면 및 상부면을 구비하고, 상기 하부면이 상기 제 1 전극에 근접 배치된 디스플레이 재료, 및상기 디스플레이 재료의 상부면에 근접 배치된 제 2전극을 포함하는 화소 구조물과; 그리고상기 회로기판의 상부면으로부터 상기 화소구조물을 통해 연장되어, 상기 다수의 전기신호 중 제 2 전기신호를 수신하도록 상기 제 2전극을 결합시키는 접속 비아를 포함하며,상기 제 1전극 및 상기 디스플레이 재료는 상기 접속 비아가 상기 제 1전극 또는 상기 디스플레이 재료를 간섭하지 않도록 배열 및 크기가 정해지는 전자 디스플레이 구조물.

- 행 및 열을 가진 매트릭스로 배열되며 전기신호를 수신하는 다수의 접촉부를 포함하는 다수의 화소 구조물과;상부면 및 하부면을 가진 회로기판과;상기 회로기판의 하부면에 접속되며 디스플레이될 이미지 데이터를 저장하는 메모리와;상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 메모리에 저장된 이미지 데이터에 응답하여 상기 다수의 화소 구조물중 각각의 화소 구조물을 활성화시키도록 조건이 설정된 다수의 전기 신호를 제공하는 화소 구동 회로와;상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 화소 구동 회로를 순차적으로 주사하기 위해 상기 타이밍 신호에 응답하여 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 연속적인 행에 전기신호를 제공하는 타이밍 회로와;상기 회로기판의 상부면에 결합되며, 상기 화소 구동 회로에 의해 제공된 상기 다수의 전기신호를 수신하고, 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 다수의 접촉부와 일대일 대응하는 다수의 전기 접촉부와;상기 회로기판의 상부면상에 있는 다수의 전기 접촉부를 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 상기 다수의 접촉부에 결합시키는 수단을 포함하는 전자 디스플레이 구조물.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 화소 구조물의 실제 조명 레벨과 상기 화소 구조물의 각각의 목적하는 조명 레벨 사이의 차이를 각각의 화소 구조물에 대하여 지시하는 이미지 교정 정보를 저장하는 추가 메모리와;상기 추가 메모리 및 상기 화소 구동 회로에 접속되며, 상기 화소 구조물의 실제 조명 레벨과 상기 화소 구조물의 각각의 목적하는 조명 레벨 사이의 차이를 보상하기 위하여 상기 화소 구조물이 상기 화소 구동 회로에 의해 구동될 때 상기 각각의 화소 구조물의 휘도를 조절하는 보상회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 디스플레이 구조물.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 화소 구동 회로는 상기 화소 구조물이 조명되고 조명되지 않는 상대적인 시간량을 변경함으로써 상기 화소 구조물의 그레이 스케일을 얻는 펄스폭 변조회로를 포함하며;상기 보상회로는 상기 화소 구조물을 조명하기 위하여 각각의 화소 구조물에 인가되는 동작전압을 조절하는 가변 전원회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 디스플레이 구조물.
- 다수의 이미지 타일을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물로서,각각의 타일은,행 및 열을 가진 매트릭스로 배열되며, 전기신호를 수신하는 다수의 접촉부를 포함하는 다수의 화소 구조물,상부면 및 하부면을 가진 회로기판,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며 디스플레이될 이미지 데이터를 저장하는 메모리,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 메모리에 저장된 이미지 데이터에 응답하여 상기 다수의 화소 구조물중 각각의 화소 구조물을 활성화시키도록 조건이 설정된 다수의 전기 신호를 제공하는 화소 구동 회로,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 화소 구동 회로를 순차적으로 주사하기 위해 상기 타이밍 신호에 응답하여 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 연속적인 행에 전기신호를 제공하는 타이밍 회로,상기 회로기판의 상부면에 결합되어, 상기 화소 구동 회로에 의해 제공된 상기 다수의 전기신호를 수신하며, 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 다수의 접촉부와 일대일 대응하는 다수의 전기 접촉부, 및상기 회로기판의 상부면상에 있는 다수의 전기 접촉부를 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 상기 다수의 접촉부에 결합시키는 수단; 및상기 다수의 이미지 타일에 동작전압을 제공하며 타일형 디스플레이 구조물을 형성하도록 상기 다수의 이미지 타일을 제자리에 유지하는 경질 접속부(rigid connection)를 가진 경질 뒷판 구조물(rigid back panel structure)을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물.
- 다수의 이미지 타일을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물로서,각각의 타일은,행 및 열을 가진 매트릭스로 배열되며, 전기신호를 수신하는 다수의 접촉부를 포함하는 다수의 화소 구조물,상부면 및 하부면을 가진 회로기판,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며 디스플레이될 이미지 데이터를 저장하는 메모리,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 메모리에 저장된 이미지 데이터에 응답하여 상기 다수의 화소 구조물 중 각각의 화소 구조물을 활성화시키도록 조건이 설정된 다수의 전기 신호를 제공하는 화소 구동 회로,상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 화소 구동 회로를 순차적으로 주사하기 위하여 상기 타이밍 신호에 응답하여 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 연속적인 행에 전기신호를 제공하는 타이밍 회로,상기 회로기판의 상부면에 결합되며, 상기 화소 구동 회로에 의해 제공된 상기 다수의 전기신호를 수신하며, 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 다수의 접촉부와 일대일 대응하는 다수의 전기 접촉부, 및상기 회로기판의 상부면상에 있는 다수의 전기 접촉부를 상기 화소 구조물의 매트릭스의 상기 다수의 접촉부에 결합시키는 수단; 및상기 이미지 타일들 중 각기 다른 이미지 타일에 동작전압을 각각 제공하는 다수의 접속부를 포함하는 뒷판을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물.
- 다수의 이미지 타일을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물로서,각각의 타일은,상부면 및 하부면을 가진 회로기판,화소영역을 각각 한정하고 상기 화소영역의 일부분을 점유하는 활성 영역을 각각 가지며 행 및 열을 가진 매트릭스로 배열되며 전기신호를 수신하는 다수의 접촉부를 가지는 다수의 화소 구조물과 유리기판을 포함하는 디스플레이부, 및상기 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 메모리에 저장된 이미지 데이터 에 응답하여, 상기 다수의 화소구조물이 선택적으로 활성화되도록 상기 다수의 구조물의 전기접촉부 중 각각의 전기 접촉부에 상기 다수의 전기신호를 제공하는 화소 구동 회로;어두운 색 라인의 다수의 행 및 열을 가지는 투명 전면 판으로서, 상기 다수의 라인은 폭이 거의 동일하며 타일형 디스플레이 장치의 화소 위치에 대하여 상기 전면 판 상에 투명영역을 한정하는, 투명 전면 판; 및상기 각각의 타일상의 각 화소영역에 대한 활성영역을 상기 전면 판 상에 한정된 투명영역중 각기 상이한 영역과 정렬시키기 위하여 상기 다수의 타일의 상기 디스플레이부의 유리기판을 상기 투명 전면 판에 고정하는 수단을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물.
- 각각 상부면 및 하부면을 가진 다수의 회로기판과;각각이 화소영역을 한정하고 행 및 열을 가진 매트릭스로 배열되며 전기신호를 수신하는 다수의 접촉부를 가지는 단일 디스플레이부와;상기 다수의 각 회로기판의 하부면에 결합되며, 상기 디스플레이부상의 다수의 화소 구조물을 선택적으로 활성화시키기 위하여 상기 단일 디스플레이부의 전기접촉부 중 각각의 전기접촉부에 다수의 전기신호를 제공하는 다수의 화소 구동 회로를 포함하는 디스플레이 구조물.
- 다수의 이미지 타일을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물로서,각각의 타일은 다수의 음극발광 디스플레이 장치(cathodoluminescent display device)를 포함하는 디스플레이부를 포함하며;상기 다수의 음극발광 장치의 각각은,다수의 개별 인광물질 영역,상기 인광물질 영역을 조명하기 위하여 상기 인광물질 영역 쪽으로 지향되는 전자빔을 방출하는 단일 음극, 및상기 다수의 인광물질 영역 중 선택된 인광물질 영역에 상기 전자빔을 선택적으로 지향시키기 위하여 사용되는 적어도 하나의 정전기 편향 그리드를 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물.
- 시간의 경과에 따라 휘도를 변화시키는 다수의 디스플레이 소자를 가진 디스플레이 장치용 휘도 보상 시스템에 있어서,상기 각각의 디스플레이 소자가 미리 설정된 휘도 레벨에 근사한 휘도 레벨을 발생시키도록 상기 다수의 디스플레이 소자에 공급될 각각의 신호를 나타내는 다수의 데이터값을 유지하는 제 1 메모리와;시간의 경과에 따라 상기 각각의 디스플레이 소자에 인가된 전류의 측정치를 축적하며 상기 축적된 전류값을 제 2메모리에 저장하는 회로와;상기 제 1 메모리 및 상기 제 2 메모리에 저장된 각각의 값에 응답하여, 상기 각각의 디스플레이 소자에 대하여 상기 제 1메모리에 유지된 데이터값을 주기적으로 변화시키는 보상회로를 포함하는 휘도 보상 시스템.
- 다수의 이미지 타일을 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물로서,각각의 타일은 다수의 음극발광 디스플레이 장치를 포함하는 디스플레이부를 포함하며;상기 다수의 음극발광 장치의 각각은,2차원 매트릭스로 배열된 다수의 개별 인광물질 영역,상기 2차원 매트릭스의 1차원으로, 인광물질 영역의 수와 동일한 수의 다수의 소자를 가지며, 상기 인광물질 영역을 조명하기 위하여 상기 인광물질 영역쪽으로 지향되는 각각의 전자빔을 각각 방출하는 음극들의 단일 행, 및상기 다수의 인광물질 영역 중 선택된 인광물질 영역을 조명하기 위하여 2차원 매트릭스 중 나머지 차원으로 상기 전자빔을 선택적으로 주사하기 위해 사용되는 적어도 하나의 정전기 편향 그리드를 포함하는 타일형 디스플레이 구조물.
