Claims (19)
- 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2기판(111,112)과; 상기 제1 및 제2기판간에 배치되어 빛의 산란과 투과를 제어하는 액정층(116)과; 상기 제1기판(111)의 내면상에 배치된 제1전극(113)과; 상기 제2기판(112)과 상기 액정층(116)의 사이에 배치되고, 적어도 일부가 상기 제1전극과 대향하는 제2전극(114)과; 상기 제2기판(112)과 상기 액정층(116)의 사이에 배치되고, 상기 액정층을 통과한 빛을 반사하는 반사부재(117)로 구성되고, 상기 반사부재는 외부로부터 조사되는 빛에 의해 여기되어 형광을 발하는 형광물질을 포함하는 막(201), 상기 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 막(301), 상기 형광 물질을 포함하는 막과 광반사성의 막의 적층막(201,MA), 상기 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 막과 광반사성의 막의 적층막(301,MA)의 적어도 어느 쪽인가 하나로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2전극(114)이 상기 제2기판상에 형성되고, 상기 제2전극의 위에 상기 반사부재(117)가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사부재(117)가 상기 제2기판상에 형성되고, 상기 제2전극(114)이 상기 반사부재의 위에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2전극(221,516)은 상기 반사부재의 적어도 일부를 구성하고, 상기 제2전극의 표면이 상기 액정층(116,515)을 통과한 빛을 반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사부재는 형광물질을 포함하고, 상기 형광막 또는 액정은 상기 형광물질이 발하는 형광의 파장에 대응하는 파장영역에 빛을 통과시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2기판(211,212)가; 상기 제1 및 제2기판 사이에 배치되고, 빛의 산란과 투과를 제어하는 액정층(222)과; 상기 제1기판의 내면상에 배치된 제1전극(212)과; 상기 제2기판의 내면과 상기 액정층 사이에 배치되고, 적어도 일부가 상기 제1전극과 대향하는 제2전극(213)과; 상기 제2기판과 상기 액정층 사이에 배치되고, 외부로부터 조사되는 빛에 여기되어 형광을 발하는 형광물질을 포함하는 막으로 구성되는 형광막(201)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2기판과 상기 형광막 사이에 반사부재(220)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 형광막(201)은 축광물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 형광막은 형광물질을 포함하는 수지막(201), 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 막(301), 형광물질을 포함하는 수지막과 광반사성 막의 적층막(201,220), 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 수지막과 광반사성 막의 적층막(301,220)중 어느 하나로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 형광막은 상기 형광물질이 발하는 형광의 파장을 포함하는 소정 파장영역의 빛을 통과시키고, 다른 파장영역의 빛을 흡수하는 물질(204,304)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 액정은 상기 형광물질이 발하는 형광의 파장을 포함하는 소정 파장영역의 빛을 통과시키고, 다른 파장영역의 빛을 흡수하는 물질(BM)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2기판(212)은 가요성의 필름으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 액정층은 고분자수지(617) 안에 액정캡슐(618)을 분산시킨 고분자분산액정층(616)으로 구성되고, 상기 고분자수지는 전계 무인가시에 상기 액정의 분자를 거의 똑같이 배향시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1투명기판(411)과; 상기 제1투명기판에 대향하여 배치되고, 투명수지필름으로 구성되는 제2투명기판(412)과; 상기 제1 및 제2투명기판 사이에 배치되고, 빛의 산란과 투과를 제어하는 액정층(416)과; 상기 제1투명기판의 내면상에 배치된 제1전극(413)과; 상기 제2투명기판의 내면상에 배치된 제2전극(414)과; 상기 제2기판의 외면상에 배치된 반사부재(417a,417b)로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 반사부재는 외부로부터 조사되는 빛에 의해 여기되어 형광을 발하는 형광물질을 포함하는 막(201), 상기 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 막(301), 상기 형광물질을 포함하는 막과 광반사성 막의 적층막(201,MA), 상기 형광물질과 축광물질을 포함하는 막과 광반사성 막의 적층막(301,MA)중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제14항에 있어서, 반사부재(417a,417b)의 외면상에 배치된 보호판(411)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 대향하여 배치된 제1 및 제2기판(511,512)과; 상기 제1 및 제2투명기판 사이에 배치되고, 빛의 산란과 투과를 제어하는 액정층(515)과; 상기 제1투명기판의 내면상에 배치된 제1전극(513)과; 상기 제2투명기판의 내면상에 배치된 제2전극(514)과; 상기 제2기판상에 배치된 반사부재(516a,516b)와; 상기 제1기판 내면의 상기 제1 및 제2전극이 대향하고 있는 부분 이외의 부분으로 이루어지는 비표시영역에 배치되고, 빛을 차폐하기 위한 차광막(517)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 차광막(517)은 광산란성 또는 광흡수성의 막으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 두께가 0.7㎜ 이하인 제1기판(511)과; 상기 제1기판에 대향하여 배치된 제2기판(512)과; 상기 제1 및 제2기판 사이에 배치되고, 빛의 산란과 투과를 제어하는 액정층(515)과; 상기 제1기판의 내면상에 배치된 제1전극(513)과; 상기 제2기판의 내면상에 배치된 제2전극(514)과; 상기 제2기판상에 배치된 반사부재(516a,516b)와; 상기 제1기판 외면의 상기 제1 및 제2전극이 대향하고 있는 부분이외의 부분으로 이루어지는 비표시영역에 배치되어 빛을 차폐하기 위한 차광막(517)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
