除了表面活性剂外,聚合物还用作衣用洗涤剂和清洁组合物的促进去污的添加剂。已知聚合物非常适合,例如作为土壤颜料如粘土矿物或烟灰的分散剂,和作为防止已经分离的污渍再附着的添加剂。但是,这类分散剂,尤其是在低温下,基本不能从表面上去除油污。

US-A-5 565 145推荐每个直接键合到氮原子上的活性NH基团可能含有最多4个氧化丙烯单元的不带电烷氧基化聚乙烯亚胺作为非极性微粒污渍的分散剂。但是,优选的和举例说明的是只被乙氧基化或最多最初被丙氧基化(即每NH基团不超过1摩尔氧化丙烯)的聚乙烯亚胺。
这些烷氧基化聚乙烯亚胺也是亲水土壤颜料的良好分散剂,但在油污情况下没有表现出令人满意的洗涤结果。
具有内部聚氧化乙烯嵌段和外部聚氧化丙烯嵌段的聚乙烯亚胺仍然要用在衣用洗涤剂或清洁组合物中。
US-A-4 076 497公开了使用已经基于每摩尔活性NH基团总共与30摩尔氧化烯(包括至少15摩尔氧化丙烯)反应的最初乙氧基化然后丙氧基化的聚乙烯亚胺作为用分散染料将聚酯和纤维素纤维染色的助剂。但是,本发明的聚亚烷基亚胺的亚烷氧基链含有最多12个亚丙氧基单元。
DE-A-22 27 546描述了具有反向氧化烯序列的聚乙烯亚胺以及最初乙氧基化然后丙氧基化的聚乙烯亚胺作为原油乳状液的破乳剂。但是,与本发明的聚亚烷基亚胺相比,这些聚乙烯亚胺具有基于每摩尔可烷氧基化NH基团为至少105摩尔氧化乙烯的太高烷氧基化程度和1.9至4∶1的太高的氧化丙烯∶氧化乙烯摩尔比(或反过来说,0.53至0.25的太小的氧化乙烯∶氧化丙烯摩尔比)。
JP-A-2003-020585描述了在脱墨工艺中使用烷氧基化聚乙烯亚胺。除了优选只被乙氧基化或最初被乙氧基化然后被氧化乙烯/氧化丙烯混合物无规烷氧基化的聚乙烯亚胺外,还公开了基于平均分子量Mw为600且每摩尔可烷氧基化NH基团最初与100摩尔氧化乙烯然后与100摩尔氧化丙烯反应(因此与本发明的聚乙烯亚胺相比同样与大量得多的氧化烯反应)的聚乙烯亚胺的产品。

本发明的目的是提供适合作为衣用洗涤剂和清洁组合物的添加剂以从织物和硬表面上去除油污的聚合物。特别地,聚合物还应该即使在低洗涤温度下也表现出良好的去污作用。

亚烷氧基单元还可以另外具有小比例的亚丙氧基或亚丁氧基单元-(R1-O)m-,即聚亚烷基亚胺可以最初基于存在的每摩尔NH部分与最多2摩尔,尤其是0.5至1.5摩尔,特别是0.8至1.2摩尔的少量氧化丙烯或氧化丁烯反应,即初始烷氧基化。
如果必要的话,聚亚烷基亚胺的这种改性能够降低烷氧基化时反应混合物的粘度。但是,这种改性通常不影响烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺的性能并因此不构成优选措施。
本发明的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺还可以被季铵化。合适的季铵化程度为最多50%,特别是5至40%。季铵化优选通过引入C1-C4烷基来实现,并可以通过与相应烷基卤化物和硫酸二烷基酯反应来以常规方式进行。
季铵化可能是有利的,从而根据要使用它们的衣用洗涤剂和清洁组合物的特定组成来调整烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,并实现该配方的更好的相容性和/或相稳定性。烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺优选不季铵化。
本发明的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺可以通过已知方式制备。
一种优选程序在于最初在第一步骤中只进行聚亚烷基亚胺的初始烷氧基化。
在该步骤中,使聚亚烷基亚胺只与所用全部氧化乙烯的一部分反应,其相当于基于每摩尔NH部分为大约1摩尔氧化乙烯,或当聚亚烷基亚胺最初要基于每摩尔NH部分用最多2摩尔氧化丙烯或氧化丁烯改性时,在此最初也只与最多1摩尔的该氧化烯反应。
这种反应通常在不存在催化剂的情况下在水溶液中在70至200℃,优选80至160℃,在最多10巴,特别是最多8巴的压力下进行。
在第二步骤中,通过随后i)与剩余量的氧化乙烯反应,或在第一步骤中被更高级氧化烯改性的情况下,与所有氧化乙烯反应,和ii)与氧化丙烯反应,实现进一步烷氧基化。
进一步烷氧基化通常在碱性催化剂存在下进行。合适的催化剂的实例是碱金属和碱土金属氢氧化物,例如氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾和氢氧化钙,碱金属醇盐,特别是钠和钾C1-C4醇盐,例如甲醇钠、乙醇钠和叔丁醇钾,碱金属和碱土金属氢化物,例如氢化钠和氢化钙,以及碱金属碳酸盐,例如碳酸钠和碳酸钾。优选的是碱金属氢氧化物和碱金属醇盐,特别优选的是氢氧化钾和氢氧化钠。碱的典型用量基于聚亚烷基亚胺和氧化烯的总量为0.05至10重量%,特别是0.5至2重量%。
进一步烷氧基化可以在本体中(in substance)(方案a))或在有机溶剂中(方案b))进行。下述工艺条件可用于乙氧基化和随后的丙氧基化。
在方案a)中,在第一步骤中获得的初始烷氧基化的聚亚烷基亚胺水溶液在添加催化剂后先脱水。这可以以简单方式通过加热至80至150℃并在0.01至0.5巴的减压下蒸除水来进行。所述与氧化烯的随后反应通常在70至200℃,优选100至180℃,和在最多10巴,特别是最多8巴的压力下进行,且随后在每种情况下在大约100至160℃和恒压下连续搅拌大约0.5至4小时。
对于方案b),合适的反应介质特别是非极性和极性非质子有机溶剂。特别合适的非极性非质子溶剂的实例包括脂族和芳族烃,例如己烷、环己烷、甲苯和二甲苯。
特别合适的极性非质子溶剂的实例是醚,特别是环醚,例如四氢呋喃和二烷、N,N-二烷基酰胺,例如二甲基甲酰胺和二甲基乙酰胺,和N-烷基内酰胺,例如N-甲基吡咯烷酮。当然还可以使用这些非质子溶剂的混合物。优选的溶剂是二甲苯和甲苯。

本发明的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺突出地适合作为衣用洗涤剂和清洁组合物的促进去污的添加剂。它们尤其在油污的情况下表现出高溶解力。特别有利的是,它们即使在低洗涤温度下也表现去污力。
本发明的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺可以基于特定总组成为通常0.05至10重量%,优选0.1至5重量%,更优选0.25至2.5重量%的量添加到衣用洗涤剂和清洁组合物中。

初始乙氧基化

a)在本体中的乙氧基化和丙氧基化

实施例4
将7.3克硫酸二甲酯逐滴添加到300克在实施例1b)中获得的烷氧基化聚乙烯亚胺5000中,并在60℃在氮气下搅拌。在此过程中,温度升至70℃。在混合物在70℃再搅拌3小时后,将混合物冷却至室温。
获得棕色粘性液体形式的307克聚乙烯亚胺5000,其基于每摩尔NH键包含10摩尔氧化乙烯和7摩尔氧化丙烯并具有22%的季铵化程度(胺滴定度:0.7514毫摩尔/克)。
II.本发明的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺在洗衣中的应用
为了测试它们的释污性能,在三个系列实验中,将烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺与表1中指定的作为模型衣用洗涤剂的表面活性剂和助洗剂一起,或与市售衣用洗涤剂一起添加到洗液中。然后在表3a、4a和5a中指定的洗涤条件下洗涤表2中所列的试验布。
通过在洗涤之前和之后对试验布进行在460纳米下的反射度测量,测定从试验布上的释污。由洗涤之前和之后的反射度值R以及白色参照棉布的反射度值通过下式计算去污性,以%表示:
所有洗涤都×2进行。在表3b、4b和5b中的洗涤结果下列出的去污值相当于在相同条件下获得的测量平均值。作为对比列出各自没有添加聚合物时获得的值。
所有用量都基于100%活性物质。

Claims (9)
1.通式I的两亲水溶性烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺及其季铵化产物:
其中变量各自定义如下:
R是相同或不同的直链或支链C2-C6亚烷基;
B是分支;
E是下式的亚烷氧基单元:
R1-OmR2-OnR3-OpR4
R1是1,2-亚丙基、1,2-亚丁基和/或1,2-异亚丁基;
R2是亚乙基;
R3是1,2-亚丙基;
R4是相同或不同的基团:氢;C1-C4烷基;
x、y、z各自是2至150,其中x+y+z之和是指如下亚烷基亚胺单元数,其对应于烷氧基化之前的聚亚烷基亚胺的平均分子量Mw为300至10000;
m是0至2的有理数;
n是6至18的有理数;
p是3至12的有理数,其中0.8≤n/p≤1.0(x+y+z)1/2。
2.根据权利要求1的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中R是亚乙基。
3.根据权利要求1或2的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中R4是氢。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中n是7至15的有理数且p是4至10的有理数,其中0.9≤n/p≤0.8(x+y+z)1/2。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中n是8至12的有理数且p是5至8的有理数,其中1.0≤n/p ≤0.6(x+y+z)1/2。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中x+y+z之和是指如下亚烷基亚胺单元数,其对应烷氧基化之前的聚亚烷基亚胺的平均分子量Mw为500至7500。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中x+y+z之和是指如下亚烷基亚胺单元数,其对应烷氧基化之前的聚亚烷基亚胺的平均分子量Mw为1000至6000。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中存在的氮原子的最多50%被季铵化。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项的烷氧基化聚亚烷基亚胺,其中m是0。
