Part II: Essay 5 points each
1. How will you effectively use your personal resources to achieve your life
goals?
Goals big and small can be the stepping-stones to a happier life and the way we set them can make a
difference to achieving them. Having goals for things we want to do and working towards them is an important
part of being human. The path towards our goals may not always run smoothly or be easy, but having goals,
whether big or small, is part of what makes life good. It gives us a sense of meaning and purpose, points us in
the direction we want to go and gets us interested and engaged, all of which are good for our overall happiness.
When we are faced with difficult times as we are now with the effects of a worldwide pandemic, it is easy to get
discouraged and lose hope.  Hope is a vital component of human existence, and it is needed to find happiness
and peace during times that might otherwise lead us to be discouraged. Some people would say that all you need
to do is work hard to achieve what you want in life. Some people think it's about who you know or what you
have.  Yet others feel there are those born with access and that they are given all the breaks in life.  The truth is,
statistics demonstrate that those who create goals and have a regular and consistent goal-setting process are
much more likely to achieve their life’s dreams. Regardless of how hard you work, if you are aiming for the
wrong dream, then all that effort will only get you to the wrong destination faster, and that would be extremely
disappointing. Despite connections, you still have to continuously demonstrate to everyone that you were
worthy of receiving the opportunity in the first place.  Eventually, proving your worth to others becomes
exhausting. For me there is a formula for turning my dreams into reality, and it isn't dependent on who you
know or proving yourself goals + commitment = dreams come true. By having clear goals, you become aware
of precisely what you want to achieve and how to go about doing it. You are able to more accurately assess and
measure your ability to accomplish the goals and most importantly, you have a plan that can guide you along
the way and keep you on track. Add commitment and determination to your goals and you will find that you are
willing to take continuous and consistent action toward making your dreams a reality, despite any obstacles in
your path, including difficult times. Having goals and staying committed to them will keep your focus on the
things that you have identified as essential to reaching your desired outcomes.  Too often, we expend precious
time on issues that have nothing to do with what we really want in our lives. We get distracted by focusing on
what others are doing and achieving, and striving to do the same.

2. How will you fully utilize your own strengths to attain your dreams?
Your Strengths will take you further than your Weaknesses. There is greater opportunity in focusing to
improve your strengths than there is to focus on improving your weaknesses.  Highly successful people are not
void of weaknesses but their capacity to gain from their strengths is what propels them to accomplish great
things.  Time and time again we hear about an individual who has achieved great success and assume they do
not have weaknesses.  Once their weaknesses come to light, often in a media circus, we suddenly feel that we
were fooled into thinking this person was better in every aspect of their life.  It isn't that we were fooled; it was
that they focused on their strengths to achieve, but their weaknesses brought them down. "Pay attention" may
seem like generic advice, but we sometimes ignore signs of our strengths because we're so invested in
improving our weaknesses. PAY ATTENTION AND FOCUS TO YOUR GOAL.

3. State some practical reasons to maintain a journal and explain.

A journal allows you to track your progress over the years and how you got to where you are now. It
allows you to track this progress in the context of important life goals and personal objectives, and to keep
them in mind so you don't lose track of the things that are truly important to you

4. Aside from Manny Pacquiao and Pia Wurtzbach, who is the most successful
person you admire most? Briefly state his/her unbelievable success story and
how it inspires you?
ALBERT EINSTEIN, The word ‘Einstein’ is associated with intelligence and synonymous with genius.
Yet it is a famous fact that the pioneer of the theory of general relativity, Albert Einstein himself, could not
speak fluently until the age of nine. His rebellious nature led to expulsion from school, and he was refused
admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School. His earlier setbacks did not stop him from winning the Nobel
Prize in Physics in 1921. After all, he believed that: “Success is failure in progress.” To this day, his research
has influenced various aspects of life including culture, religion, art, and even late night TV. Just because you
haven’t achieved anything great yet, doesn’t mean you can’t be an Einstein yourself. And I believe in that.
5. As an adolescent, how can you face the challenges and manage the
demands of life?
Life is full of its ups and downs. One day, you may feel like you have it all figured out. Then, in a
moment’s notice, you’ve been thrown a curve ball. You’re not alone in these feelings. Everyone has to face
their own set of challenges. Learning how to overcome challenges will help you stay centered and remain calm
under pressure. Seeking an advice from others especially adults will really help us to overcome our challenges
in life, that’s why for me asking for help is one of my technique in facing challenges, making plan, think big
and be optimistic, help others, and Don’t Give Up, let’s always think that in every problem there’s always a
solution and we can do this!

6. How do you handle the everyday frustrations? How do you manage to

control your everyday stress in life?
Sleep and rest, stay hydrated, eat well, move and be as physically active as you can. Keep a daily
schedule as it makes sense to you, with time for sleep, meals, movement, self-care, work, etc. This can help
increase a sense of security and predictability. Take breaks and adjust your timelines as needed.
