Abstract
【解決手段】SiO2/Al2O3のモル比が20以上40未満、SEM粒径が0.35μm以上、X線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.30°未満、なおかつNH3吸着量が1mmol/g以上のSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト、或いはそれに加えて水熱耐久処理後のNH3吸着量が0.4mmol/g以上のSCR触媒用β型ゼオライトを用いたSCR触媒。水熱耐久処理後における低温NOx還元性が高く、排ガスへの刺激性のアンモニア排出を小さくすることができる。

Description
β型ゼオライトを用いたSCR触媒は、高温水蒸気雰囲気下での耐久処理(以下、「水熱耐久処理」という)後において、NOx還元性能が低下し、特に300℃以下の低温での性能低下が著しく、使用することができなかった。このようなβ型ゼオライトを用いたSCR触媒の水熱耐久処理後における性能低下は、β型ゼオライトの耐熱性が不十分であることが主な原因と考えられるが、特に低温での性能が著しい原因はこれまで十分に解明されていなかった。従来の文献報告、及び市販されて入手可能なβ型ゼオライトを用いたSCR触媒性能は、いずれも、水熱耐久処理後の200℃におけるNOx還元率が30%未満でしかなかった。
これまでβ型ゼオライトの製造法としては種々の方法が報告されている。(特許文献5〜9参照)しかし、SCR触媒として用いるβ型ゼオライトについて、水熱耐久処理後のNOx還元率の高いβ型ゼオライト、特に低温でNOx還元率の高いβ型ゼオライトについて提案されたものはない。

β型ゼオライトのNH3吸着量は、アンモニアを吸着させたβ型ゼオライトから脱着したアンモニアを定量分析することにより求められ、市販の自動昇温脱離分析装置を用いて測定することができる。

本発明のSCR触媒は、β型ゼオライトに周期律表のVIII族、IB族の元素群から少なくとも一種の金属を担持したもの、特に鉄、コバルト、パラジウム、イリジウム、白金、銅、銀、金の群から選ばれる一種以上であり、更に好ましくは鉄、パラジウム、白金、銅、銀の一種以上、さらには鉄又は銅を担持したものであることが好ましい。

F原料を用いる場合には

上記の製造条件によって本発明のSiO2/Al2O3のモル比、SEM径を制御するには、例えば本発明の出願人によって開示された特許文献8等に記載された方法によって調整してもよい。
珪酸ソーダ水溶液、硫酸アルミニウム水溶液を用いスラリー状生成物の組成がSiO2:0.05Al2O3となるように攪拌下で反応させ、スラリー状生成物とし、脱水した後、洗浄して粒状無定型アルミノ珪酸塩とした。
珪酸ソーダ水溶液、硫酸アルミニウム水溶液を用いた原料スラリーの組成をSiO2:0.034Al2O3とし、反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.034Al2O3:0.16TEAOH:9.9H2Oとし、水熱合成条件150℃、66時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が29のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。(TEAOH:水酸化テトラエチルアンモニウム35%水溶液)
得られたβ型ゼオライトのSiO2/Al2O3のモル比、SEM径、X線結晶回折における主要回折ピーク(2θ=22.4°)の半値幅、水熱処理後のアンモニア吸着量を表1に示した。
珪酸ソーダ水溶液、硫酸アルミニウム水溶液を用いた原料スラリーの組成をSiO2:0.07Al(OH)3とし、反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.07Al(OH)3:0.10KOH:0.30TEAOH:9.9H2O
とし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150℃、88時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が24のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。

SiO2:0.034Al2O3:0.05KOH:0.14TEAOH:9.9H2Oとし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150度、88時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が29のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。
珪酸ソーダ水溶液、硫酸アルミニウム水溶液を用いスラリー状生成物の組成がSiO2:0.034Al2O3とし、反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.034Al2O3:0.07TEABr:0.13TEAOH:9.9H2Oとし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150℃、144時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が29のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。(TEABr:臭化テトラエチル5アンモニウム50%水溶液)
得られたβ型ゼオライトのSiO2/Al2O3のモル比、SEM径、X線結晶回折における主要回折ピーク(2θ=22.4°)の半値幅、水熱処理後のアンモニア吸着量を表1に示した。
東ソーシリカ製の無定形シリカ粉末(商品名:ニップシールVN−3)、水酸化アルミニウムを用い、反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.034Al2O3:0.16TEAOH:9.9H2Oとし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150℃、120時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が29のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。
テトラエチルオルトシリケート、アルミニウムイソプロポキシド、TEAOHを混合し、室温で撹拌することでエタノールと水を蒸発させた。反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.034Al2O3:0.16TEAOH:9.9H2Oとし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150℃、72時間、焼成温度600℃とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が29のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。
珪酸ソーダ水溶液、硫酸アルミニウム水溶液を用いた原料スラリーの組成をSiO2:0.08Al(OH)3とし、反応混合物の組成を、
SiO2:0.08Al(OH)3:0.05KOH:0.14TEAOH:9.9H2O
とし、種晶に東ソー製HSZ930NHAを用い、水熱合成条件150℃、88時間とした以外は実施例1と同様の処理をし、SiO2/Al2O3モル比が22のβ型ゼオライトを合成した。
実施例1〜7、比較例1及び市販のβ型ゼオライトそれぞれにFe(NO3)3・9水和物の水溶液を用いてFe金属を3重量%担持したSCR触媒とした。市販のβ型ゼオライトとしてはSiO2/Al2O3モル比が40の東ソー製β型ゼオライト(商品名:HSZ−940NHA、表2中「従来製品1」)、及びSiO2/Al2O3モル比が30の東ソー製β型ゼオライト(商品名:HSZ−930NHA、表2中「従来製品2」)を600℃で空気焼成してH型にしたもの、さらに上記のモル比40のH型ゼオライトを通常の方法(無機酸で処理)によってSiO2/Al2O3モル比が491(表2中「従来品」)としたものを用いた。
Claims (10)
- SiO2/Al2O3のモル比が20以上40未満、SEM粒径が0.35μm以上、X線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.30°未満、なおかつNH3吸着量が1mmol/g以上であるSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト。
- SiO2/Al2O3のモル比が22以上30未満、SEM粒径が0.35μm以上、X線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.30°未満、なおかつNH3吸着量が1.2mmol/g以上であるSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト。
- SiO2/Al2O3のモル比が22以上30未満、SEM粒径が0.5μm以上、X線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.30°未満、なおかつNH3吸着量が1.2mmol/g以上である請求項1〜2に記載のSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト。
- SiO2/Al2O3のモル比が23以上29未満、SEM粒径が0.5μm以上、X線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.30°未満、なおかつNH3吸着量が1.2mmol/g以上である請求項1〜3に記載のSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト。
- 水熱耐久処理後のX線結晶回折(302)面の半値幅(FWHM)が0.35°未満、NH3吸着量が0.4mmol/g以上である請求項1〜4に記載のSCR触媒用β型ゼオライト。
- 水熱耐久処理後におけるNOx還元率が200℃で30%以上であるSCR還元触媒。
- 水熱耐久処理後におけるNOx還元率が250℃で75%以上である請求項6に記載のSCR触媒。
- 担持金属が周期律表のVIII族、IB族の元素群から少なくとも一種の金属である請求項6〜7に記載のSCR触媒。
- 担持金属が鉄及び/又は銅を含んでなる請求項8に記載のSCR触媒。
- 請求項6〜9のSCR触媒を用いてなる窒素酸化物の還元浄化方法。
