Abstract
420,351. Steam engines. SPENCERBONECOURT, Ltd., and GREGSON, W., 32, Farringdon Street, London. March 29, 1934, No. 9789. [Class 122 (iii)] The steam between the stages in a multipleexpansion engine, is heated by waste furnace gases. Steam between the high and lowpressure cylinders 1, 2 of a mill engine is heated in a re-heater 3 located in the flue 5 from a battery of furnaces 4. Dampers 6, 7 control the flow of the gases to a waste heat boiler 8, or to the atmosphere by a stack 9.
