Cadmium waste is the result of industrial processes that are carcinogen material. The target organs of Cd toxicity is the kidney and liver. Cadmium waste treatment can be done by adsorption method using a plant thorn spinach (Amaranthus spinosus L). This herb has been used as an adsorbent because it contains proteins that have the amine group (-NH2), carboxyl group (-COOH), also sulfidril group (-SH). Besides, in plant tissue have a cell wall composed of cellulose, lignin-containing hydroxyl group (-OH). Polar clusters are able to bind heavy metals. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of absorption of spinach plants with thorns as phytoremediation of metal cadmium (Cd) in tissues of roots, stems and leaves. Fosfat terdapat dalam air alam atau air limbah sebagai senyawa ortofosfat, polifosfat dan fosfat organik. Setiap senyawa tersebut terdapat dalam bentuk terlarut, tersuspensi atau terikat di dalam sel organisme dalam air. Dalam air limbah senyawa fosfat dapat berasal dari limbah penduduk, industri dan pertanian. Fosfat merupakan salah satu senyawa yang dibutuhkan oleh bakteri maupun tanaman, bila kadar fosfat sangat rendah (dibawah 0,01 ppm), maka pertumbuhan tanaman akan terganggu, bila kadar fosfat serta nutrient lainnya tinggi, maka pertumbuhan tanaman dan ganggang sulit dikendalikan, adapun nilai ambang batas (NAB) yang diizinkan adalah 0,2 ppm (PP. The purpose of this study are: (1) identify the influence of competence that can improve the performance of agricultural extension in the development of maize farming in the province of Gorontalo, (2) examine the influence of competence and performance of agricultural extension on the behavior of corn farmers in the province of Gorontalo and (3) study the impact of extension performance agriculture corn farmers on changing behaviors in Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonversi lignoselulosa dari jagung tongkol limbah menjadi bioetanol sebagai bahan bakar alternatif terbarukan. Proses pembuatan etanol dari kotoran jagung sampah dapat melalui tiga tahapan yang penting, menghidrolisis lignocellulose menjadi gula, fermentasi gula ke dalam pemurnian etanol andethanol. Proses menghidrolisis kimia menggunakan asam sulfat encer. Fermentasi gula ke etanol menggunakan Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, sedangkan pemurnian alkohol yang dihasilkan melalui proses distilasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alkohol (etanol) konsentrasi yang diperoleh masih di bawah standar yang diinginkan sebagai alternatif energi untuk bahan bakar fosil.

This writing is mainly intended to reveal the aspects American dreams in Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby. The stressed aspects are Pursuit of happiness, Persistence, Self-reliance, Individualistic, and The way to wealth. This is a qualitative research. This tries to describe the aspects of American Dream in The Great Gatsby by using sociological approach. This study is started by an assumption that the collapse of American society is caused by the condition as shown in novel The Great Gatsby. So then, where is the American Dream? This question leads this writing in studying the values of American Dream as reflected in The Great Gatsby. The result of this analysis shows that, The Great Gatsby, a novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald reflect the aspects of American Dream such as pursuit of happiness, persistence, self-reliance, the way to wealth, and individualistic.

Global warming, or what has been called the Greenhouse effect, refers to an average increase in the earth\'s temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate. The Greenhouse Effect is the results from a four step process. First, sunlight radiates from the sun, through space to earth\'s atmosphere. Second, the sunlight enters the atmosphere and hits earth. Some of it turns into heat energy in the form of infrared light. The heat is absorbed by surrounding air and land, which in turn makes it warm. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara cerita rakyat dan kemampuan komunikasi untuk perkembangan moral anak 7-8 tahun di Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan faktorial. Sampel penelitian ini didapatkan melalui dua langkah, teknik cluster sampling dan sample random sampling. Sampel percobaan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 2 SDIT Al Manar sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah siswa kelas 2 SDIT Al Husna. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk kemampuan komunikasi dan tes lisan untuk pengetahuan perkembangan moral. Berdasarkan analisis data, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) perkembangan moral anak-anak 7-8 tahun yang diberikan kisah fantasi modern lebih tinggi dari perkembangan moral yang diberikan cerita rakyat tradisional, (2) terdapat interaksi antara dongeng dengan kemampuan komunikasi melalui perkembangan moral anak-anak 7-8 tahun, (3) perkembangan moral anak-anak 7-8 tahun yang memiliki komunikasi yang lebih tinggi dan kisah fa...
