I am a philologist and literary scholar by training (Ph.D. Scuola Normale Superiore, 2015): my interests lie at the intersection of philology and intellectual history, with a primary focus on the relationship between vernacular literature and religious dissent in the late 14th through the late 16th century. I am currently a senior researcher at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale–Università di Napoli “Federico II”. My research has been supported by fellowships from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (hosted at the Freie Universität Berlin), the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the University of California Los Angeles, and I Tatti–The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies.edit
