R58, R59는 질소 원자와 함께, 3 내지 10개의 고리 원자를 가지며 그리고 알킬, 시클로알킬, 헤테로시클로알킬, 아릴, 헤테로아릴 및, 공여체 또는 수용체 작용을 갖는 기로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 치환기로 치환되거나 또는 비치환될 수 있으며 및/또는 3 내지 10개의 고리 원자를 갖는 1종 이상의 추가의 고리형 라디칼로 융합될 수 있는 고리형 라디칼을 형성하며, 여기서 융합된 라디칼은 알킬, 시클로알킬, 헤테로시클로알킬, 아릴, 헤테로아릴 및, 공여체 또는 수용체 작용을 갖는 기로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 치환기로 치환되거나 또는 비치환될 수 있으며;
R70, R71, R72, R60, R61, R62, R63, R64, R65, R66, R67은 각각 독립적으로 아릴, 헤테로아릴, 알킬, 시클로알킬 또는 헤테로시클로알킬이거나 또는
화학식 X의 2개의 단위는 1종 이상의 이종원자로 임의로 개재된 선형 또는 분지형, 포화 또는 불포화 가교에 의하여, 결합에 의하여 또는 O에 의하여 서로 가교된다. - 제10항에 있어서, 상기 1종 이상의 금속-카르벤 착물을 포함하는 발광층, 제10항에서 정의된 바와 같은 화학식 X의 1종 이상의 매트릭스 물질 및 1종 이상의 추가의 매트릭스 물질을 포함하는 OLED.
- 제9항에 있어서, 2종 이상의 상이한 물질을 포함하는 전자 수송층을 포함하며, 이중 1종 이상의 물질이 전자-전도성인 OLED.
- 제9항에 따른 1종 이상의 OLED를 포함하는, 정지(stationary) 영상 디스플레이 장치, 이동 영상 디스플레이 장치 및 조명 수단으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 디바이스.
