Claims (19)
- (a) 애노드,
(i) 캐소드, 및
(e) 2 내지 40 중량%의, 0.2 eV 미만의 단일항 에너지 (ES1(X))와 삼중항 에너지 (ET1(X))의 차를 갖는 발광성 유기금속 착물 X,
0.05 내지 5.0 중량%의 형광 발광체 Y 및
55 내지 97.95 중량%의 호스트 화합물(들)
을 포함하며, 여기서 유기금속 착물 X, 형광 발광체 Y 및 호스트 화합물(들)의 양은 합계가 총 100 중량%이고, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 단일항 에너지 (ES1(X))가 형광 발광체 Y의 단일항 에너지 (ES1(Y))보다 큰 인, 애노드와 캐소드 사이의 발광 층을 포함하고,
여기서, 형광 발광체 Y의 발광 개시는 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 발광 개시에 대하여 0 내지 50 nm 만큼 적색-이동되는 것이고,
여기서, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X는 발광성 이리듐 착물 또는 발광성 구리 착물이고,
여기서, 발광성 이리듐 착물은 하기 화학식의 화합물이고,
또는
식 (X)에서, X 및 Y는 서로 독립적으로 CH 또는 N이며, 단 X 및 Y 중 적어도 하나는 N이고;
R23, R24, R27 및 R28은 각각 독립적으로 수소; 중수소; 메틸, 에틸, n-프로필, 이소-프로필, n-부틸, tert-부틸, sec-부틸, 이소-부틸, 시클로펜틸, 시클로헥실, OCH3, OCF3; 페닐, 피리딜, 피리미딜, 피라지닐, 카르바졸릴, 디벤조푸라닐, 디벤조티오페닐, 벤조푸라닐 및 벤조티오페닐 (여기서, 상기 언급된 라디칼은 비-치환되거나 메틸, 에틸, n-프로필, 이소-프로필, n-부틸, tert-부틸, sec-부틸, 이소-부틸, 메톡시, CF3 또는 페닐로 치환될 수 있음); F, CF3, CN 및 SiPh3으로부터 선택된, 공여체 또는 수용체 작용을 갖는 기이고;

여기서, 발광성 구리 착물은 하기 화학식의 화합물인,
유기 발광 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 단일항 에너지와 삼중항 에너지의 차가 0.1 eV 미만인 유기 발광 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 단일항 에너지와 삼중항 에너지의 차가 0.05 eV 미만인 유기 발광 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X (2 내지 40 중량%), 형광 발광체 Y (0.05 내지 5.0 중량%) 및 호스트 화합물(들) (55 내지 97.95 중량%)로 이루어진 박막의, τ0=τv/QY에 의해 계산되는 발광 수명 τ0이 100 ns 미만인 유기 발광 장치.

(g) 전자 수송 층,
(h) 전자 주입 층, 및
(i) 캐소드
를 이 순서대로 포함하는 유기 발광 장치. - 2 내지 40 중량%의, 0.2 eV 미만의 단일항 에너지와 삼중항 에너지의 차를 갖는 발광성 유기금속 착물 X,
0.05 내지 5 중량%의 형광 발광체 Y 및
55 내지 97.95 중량%의 호스트 화합물(들)
을 포함하며, 여기서 유기금속 착물 X, 형광 발광체 Y 및 호스트 화합물(들)의 양은 합계가 총 100 중량%이고, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 단일항 에너지 (ES1(X))가 형광 발광체 Y의 단일항 에너지 (ES1(Y))보다 크고,
여기서, 형광 발광체 Y의 발광 개시는 발광성 유기금속 착물 X의 발광 개시에 대하여 0 내지 50 nm 만큼 적색-이동되는 것이고,
여기서, 발광성 유기금속 착물 X는 발광성 이리듐 착물 또는 발광성 구리 착물이고,
여기서, 발광성 이리듐 착물은 하기 화학식의 화합물이고,

식 (X)에서, X 및 Y는 서로 독립적으로 CH 또는 N이며, 단 X 및 Y 중 적어도 하나는 N이고;

발광층. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 유기 발광 장치를 포함하는, 컴퓨터, 텔레비젼의 시각 디스플레이 유닛, 프린터, 주방용 기구 및 광고 패널, 조명 및 정보 패널에서의 시각 디스플레이 유닛으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 고정식 시각 디스플레이 유닛, 및 휴대폰, 랩톱, 디지털 카메라, MP3 플레이어, 차량, 및 버스 및 열차의 행선지 디스플레이에서의 시각 디스플레이 유닛으로부터 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 이동식 시각 디스플레이 유닛; 조명 유닛; 키보드; 의류 품목; 가구; 월페이퍼로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 장치.
- 제14항의 발광 층을 포함하는, 컴퓨터, 텔레비젼의 시각 디스플레이 유닛, 프린터, 주방용 기구 및 광고 패널, 조명 및 정보 패널에서의 시각 디스플레이 유닛으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 고정식 시각 디스플레이 유닛, 및 휴대폰, 랩톱, 디지털 카메라, MP3 플레이어, 차량, 및 버스 및 열차의 행선지 디스플레이에서의 시각 디스플레이 유닛으로부터 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 이동식 시각 디스플레이 유닛; 조명 유닛; 키보드; 의류 품목; 가구; 월페이퍼로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 장치.
- 제14항의 발광 층을 포함하는, 발광 전기화학 전지 (LEEC), 유기 발광 장치 (OLED) 센서, 유기 태양 전지 (OSC), 유기 전계-효과 트랜지스터, 유기 다이오드 및 유기 포토다이오드로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 발광 층은 청색 또는 녹색 광을 발광하는 것인, 유기 발광 장치.
- 제14항에 있어서, 청색 또는 녹색 광을 발광하는 발광 층.
