도 4는 본 발명의 실시예 3 및 비교예 1에 따라 제조된 전지의 양극 활물질에 대한 DSC(시차 주사 열량측정법) 그래프를 나타낸 것이다.

Claims (12)
- 화학식 1로 표시되는 층상 구조의 리튬 전이금속 복합 산화물을 포함하는 양극 활물질로서,
상기 리튬 전이금속 복합 산화물의 표면에 In2O3, IZO(Zn doped In2O3), IAO (Sb doped In2O3), ZnIn2O5, Zn3In2O6, Zn5In2O8, CdIn2O4, MgIn2O4, AgInO2; 및 Zn, Ga, Tl, Mg, W, Al 산화물 중 1종 이상과 인듐 산화물의 합금 중에서 선택된 1종 이상의 인듐계 화합물이 코팅된 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질:

xLiMO2·(1-x)Li2MnO3
(상기 M은 Mg, Ni, Co, Cr, Al, V, Fe, Cu, Zn, Ti, Sr, Mn, B 및 La 중 1종 이상이며, x는 0<x<1이다.)
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 인듐계 화합물은 In2O3인 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 인듐 산화물의 합금은 ZnO-In2O3, MgO-In2O3, Ga2O-In2O3, 및 Al2O3-In2O3 중에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 인듐계 화합물은 상기 리튬 전이금속 복합 산화물에 대해 0.2 내지 6 중량%로 코팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 인듐계 화합물은 10 nm 내지 50 ㎛ 입경을 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항의 양극 활물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 하기의 화학식 1로 표시되는 리튬 전이금속 복합 산화물에 In2O3, IZO(Zn doped In2O3), IAO (Sb doped In2O3), ZnIn2O5, Zn3In2O6, Zn5In2O8, CdIn2O4, MgIn2O4, AgInO2; 및 Zn, Ga, Tl, Mg, W, Al 산화물 중 1종 이상과 인듐 산화물의 합금 중에서 선택된 1종 이상의 인듐계 화합물을 투입하고 교반하는 코팅 단계 및
상기 코팅 단계 이후에 획득된 분말을 열처리하는 열처리 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법:

(상기 M은 Mg, Ni, Co, Cr, Al, V, Fe, Cu, Zn, Ti, Sr, Mn, B 및 La 중 1종 이상이며, x는 0<x<1이다.)
- 제7항에 있어서,
상기 코팅 단계는 건식 코팅방법 또는 습식 코팅방법을 적용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 습식 코팅방법은 인듐계 화합물을 용매와 혼합하는 코팅용액 제조단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,
상기 용매는 탄소수 1 내지 6의 알코올, 톨루엔, 헥산, 아세톤, 에테르, 테트라하이드로퓨란, 디클로로메탄, 디클로로에탄, 에틸아세테이트, 크실렌, 벤젠, 에틸벤젠, 메틸에틸케톤, 디메틸술폭시드, 디메틸포름아미드, 헥사메틸포스포아미드 및 메틸이소부틸케톤 중에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,
상기 인듐계 화합물은 상기 리튬 전이금속 복합 산화물에 대해 0.2 내지 6 중량%로 투입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,
상기 열처리 단계는 300 내지 700 ℃에서 1 내지 12시간 동안 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
