Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO DE TRATAMENTO DE MATERIAL DE DESPEJO ORGâNICO DE HALOGêNIO"<D>. Material de despejo orgânico de halogênio tal como PVC é submetido a um tratamento hidrolítico suspendendo-se 1 parte em peso do material de despejo no estado cominuído em 1-10 partes em peso de água na presença de uma base e aquecendo-se esta suspensão uma temperatura entre 250-280°C a uma pressão suficiente para manter a água no estado líquido por um período de tempo suficiente para converter substancialmente todo o halogênio organicamente ligado presente em halogenetos inorgânicos. Por meio desse tratamento, compostos orgânicos valiosos isentos de halogênio são gerados como produtos de decomposição assegurando a economia do tratamento.
