Description
請求項1は、ハロゲン原子を含有するプラスチック廃棄物と、この前記プラスチック廃棄物100g当たりの総アミノ基量が下記モル量となるアミノ化合物と、前記プラスチック廃棄物100質量部に対して2500〜50000質量部の、濃度が0.1〜3.5mol/Lの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液又は水酸化カリウム水溶液とを150〜250℃に加熱処理することを特徴とするプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法であり、
前記アミノ化合物が2−アミノエタノールである場合:0.5〜50モル
前記アミノ化合物がヒドラジンである場合:10〜35モル
前記アミノ化合物がアンモニアである場合:55〜150モル
前記アミノ化合物がトリメチルアミンである場合:4〜30モル
請求項2は、前記プラスチック廃棄物は、ハロゲン原子の含有量が3mol/g以下の軟質ポリ塩化ビニルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法であり、
請求項3は、前記加熱処理は、少なくとも20分間にわたって、行われることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法である。
軟質ポリ塩化ビニル製の血液チューブ(ポリ塩化ビニル59.2質量%、ジ(n−オクチル)フタレート29.7質量%、塩素原子の含有量0.01mol/g)を、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、1gのポリ塩化ビニル試料を採取した。採取したポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、98%ヒドラジン3mL(総アミノ基量0.191mol)と、水酸化ナトリウム濃度が2.0mol/Lのアルカリ性溶液50mLとを、マイクロ波加熱装置(商品名「マイクロシス」:マイルストーンゼネラル(株)製)及び攪拌手段を備えた内容量100mLの耐圧容器に投入し、攪拌下、190℃に30分間加熱した。
98%ヒドラジンの使用量を表1に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、98%ヒドラジンと、アルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表1に示す。
前記軟質ポリ塩化ビニル製の血液チューブを、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、1gのポリ塩化ビニル試料を採取した。一方、アミノ化合物前駆体としてポリウレタン製緩衝材を、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、0.05gのポリウレタン試料を採取した。
アルカリ性溶液における水酸化ナトリウム濃度を表2に記載の濃度に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、ポリウレタン試料0.05gと、アルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表2に示す。
粉砕した前記ポリウレタン製緩衝材から採取したポリウレタン試料の使用量を表3に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、ポリウレタン試料と、水酸化ナトリウム濃度が2.0mol/Lのアルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表3に示す。
前記軟質ポリ塩化ビニル製の血液チューブを、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、1gのポリ塩化ビニル試料を採取した。一方、アミノ化合物前駆体として車両用のエーテル系ポリウレタン緩衝材(型式「TNW」、ブリヂストン化成品株式会社製)を、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、0.025gのエーテル系ポリウレタン試料を採取した。
粉砕した前記エーテル系ポリウレタン緩衝材から採取したポリウレタン試料の使用量を表4に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例11と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、ポリウレタン試料と、水酸化ナトリウム濃度が2.0mol/Lのアルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表4に示す。
前記軟質ポリ塩化ビニル製の血液チューブを、約200μm角の大きさに粉砕し、1gのポリ塩化ビニル試料を採取した。採取したポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、30%トリメチルアミン3mL(総アミノ基量0.059mol)と、水酸化ナトリウム濃度が2.0mol/Lのアルカリ性溶液50mLとを、マイクロ波加熱装置(商品名「マイクロシス」:マイルストーンゼネラル(株)製)及び攪拌手段を備えた内容量100mLの耐圧容器に投入し、攪拌下、180℃に30分間加熱した。
30%トリメチルアミンの使用量を表5に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例15と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、30%トリメチルアミンと、アルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表5に示す。
30%トリメチルアミンに代えて25%アンモニア水を用い、この25%アンモニア水の使用量を表6に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例15と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、25%アンモニア水と、アルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表6に示す。
30%トリメチルアミンに代えて2−エタノールアミンを用い、この2−エタノールアミンの使用量を表7に記載の使用量に変更した以外は、実施例15と同様にして、ポリ塩化ビニル試料1.0gと、2−エタノールアミンと、アルカリ性溶液50mLとを加熱処理し、塩素イオン除去率(%)を算出した。その結果を表7に示す。
Claims (3)
- ハロゲン原子を含有するプラスチック廃棄物と、この前記プラスチック廃棄物100g当たりの総アミノ基量が下記モル量となるアミノ化合物と、前記プラスチック廃棄物100質量部に対して2500〜50000質量部の、濃度が0.1〜3.5mol/Lの水酸化ナトリウム水溶液又は水酸化カリウム水溶液とを150〜250℃に加熱処理することを特徴とするプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法。
前記アミノ化合物が2−アミノエタノールである場合:0.5〜50モル
前記アミノ化合物がヒドラジンである場合:10〜35モル
前記アミノ化合物がアンモニアである場合:55〜150モル
前記アミノ化合物がトリメチルアミンである場合:4〜30モル - 前記プラスチック廃棄物は、ハロゲン原子の含有量が3mol/g以下の軟質ポリ塩化ビニルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法。
- 前記加熱処理は、少なくとも20分間にわたって、行われることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のプラスチック廃棄物の処理方法。
