Therefore, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to provide the lever fitting connector 1 that is reduced in size.
- the notch 10 is provided in the peripheral wall 9 of the frame 2, and below the male connector housing 4 accommodated in the frame 2 in the accommodated state. Space is created. For this reason, size reduction and space saving are achieved. Therefore, the lever fitting type connector 1 can be easily attached to a narrow space where it is difficult to secure a sufficient space such as the vicinity of the hinge of the door panel 6 of the automobile.
- the lever fitting type connector 1 according to the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. As long as it does not deviate from the gist of the present invention, the configuration, shape, setting, and the like may be variously changed or combined.
- one connector housing 4 accommodated in the frame 2 by rotating the lever 3 from the one opening 8 a side of the frame 2 is a male connector housing. It was.
- the other connector housing 5 previously housed in the frame 2 from the other opening 8b side of the frame 2 is defined as a female connector housing.
- one connector housing 4 may be a female connector housing and the other connector housing 5 may be a male connector housing. It is.
- the panel 6 is used.
- the lever fitting connector 1 according to the present invention is not necessarily attached to the panel 6.
- the male / female connectors 4 and 5 of the wire harness may be fitted together without using the panel 6.
- the hood portion having a housing accommodating opening for accommodating the one connector housing by rotating the lever is provided on the frame. Form with. After housing one connector housing in the frame, the notch portion is opened by turning the lever to the opposite side, and the hood portion and the housing storing opening are eliminated. Therefore, the double structure of the hood part and the lever is eliminated, and it can be used for miniaturization and space saving.
