Description
本發明係關於一種顯示面板結構。
在眾多種類的平面顯示器中,不難發現顯示面板的結構都只有一種形狀“矩形”。如圖1所示,矩形的顯示面板結構提供的假畫素電路,通常都是假閘極線配合資料線或假資料線配合閘極線的方式來構成假像素單元結構91。然而當提供不同形狀的顯示面板結構時,上述方式可能就不適用。
發明人爰因於此,本於積極發明之精神,亟思一種自由形狀的顯示面板結構,而不再只限於矩形的顯示面板結構,可使任意形狀的顯示面板結構配合不同結構的假像素單元,據以提供靜電放電保護之效果。
本發明之目的在於提供一種顯示面板結構,以使任意形狀的顯示面板結構具備配合的假像素單元、假閘極線、及假資料線,據以提供靜電放電保護之效果。
為達成上述目的,本發明提供一種顯示面板結構,包括:一基板,其中該基板包含一顯示區與一周邊區,該周邊區環繞該顯示區;複數條閘極線,沿一第一方向平行設置於該基板上,其中該複數條閘極線由該顯示區延伸至該周邊區;複數條資料線,沿一第二方向平行設置於該基板上,並且該第一方向不平行於第二方向,其中該複數條資料線由該顯示區延伸至該周邊區;複數個像素單元,位於該顯示區,每一該複數個像素單元係由相鄰兩條之該些閘極線與相鄰兩條之該些資料線所界定;以及複數個假像素單元,位於該周邊區,包含一第一區假像素單元、一第二區假像素單元以及一第三區假像素單元,其中該第一區假像素單元係沿該第一方向延伸設置,該第二區假像素單元係沿該第二方向延伸設置,以及第三區假像素單元係設置於該第一區及該第二區之間,其中該第三區的該些假像素單元包含該些閘極線之一與該些資料線之一。
藉此,本案假像素單元的特殊結構及多樣性,可提供自由形狀的顯示面板結構,而不再只限於矩形的顯示面板結構,也就是說當產品需要特殊形狀的顯示面板結構時,即可利用本發明的顯示面板結構。

首先,請參照圖2所示,係本發明顯示面板結構之整體結構示意圖。此顯示面板結構1是以一圓形之顯示面板為例說明,但本發明不限於此,其他非矩形的顯示
器亦可適用本發明的結構。如圖2所示,本發明之顯示面板結構包含一基板17(圖中顯示為圓形)、複數條閘極線g1

、至少一條假閘極線gm
、一閘極驅動器2、複數條資料線D1
~Dn
、至少一條假資料線Dm
、一資料驅動器3、複數個像素18、以及複數個假像素19。其中,如圖2所示意,該基板17包含一顯示區(斜線區)及一周邊區(空白區),該周邊區環繞該顯示區,該複數個像素18位於該顯示區,該複數個假像素19位於該周邊區。另外,該複數條閘極線g1

Claims (19)
- 一種顯示面板結構,包括:一非矩形基板;一第一閘極線,沿一第一方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上;一第二閘極線,沿該第一方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上;一第三閘極線,位於該第一閘極線與該第二閘極線之間,沿該第一方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上;一第一資料線,沿一第二方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上;一第二資料線,沿該第二方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上,一第三資料線,位於該第一資料線與該第二資料線之間,沿該第二方向平行設置於該非矩形基板上,並且該第一方向不平行於第二方向;複數像素單元,分別由該第一閘極線、第三閘極線、第二資料線與第三資料線所界定,以及由該第二閘極線、第三閘極線、第一資料線與第三資料線所界定;以及一假像素單元,由該第一閘極線、第三閘極線、第一資料線與第三資料線所界定。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之顯示面板結構,其更包含:一閘極驅動器,用以驅動該些閘極線;以及 一資料驅動器,用以驅動該些資料線。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假像素單元包含一薄膜電晶體,其中該薄膜電晶體包含與該第一閘極線連接的一閘極,以及與該第三資料線浮接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假像素單元包含一薄膜電晶體,其中該薄膜電晶體包含與該第一閘極線浮接的一閘極,以及與該第三資料線連接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假像素單元包含一薄膜電晶體,其中該薄膜電晶體包含與該第一閘極線浮接的一閘極,以及與該第三資料線浮接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項或第4項或第5項所述之顯示面板結構,其更包含:至少一假閘極線,沿著該第一方向延伸設置於該非矩形基板上;以及至少一假資料線,沿著該第二方向延伸設置於該非矩形基板上。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,更包含一第一區假像素單元,該第一區假像素單元包含至少一薄膜電晶體,該薄膜電晶體包含與該假閘極線連接的一閘極,以及與該些資料線之一連接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,更包含一第二區假像素單元,該第二區假像素單元包含至少一薄膜電晶體,該薄膜電晶體包含與該些閘極線之一連接的一閘極,以及與該假資料線連接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假閘極線穿過該第二區假像素單元。
- 如申請專利範圍第9項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該第二區假像素單元包含至少一薄膜電晶體,該薄膜電晶體包含與該假閘極線連接的一閘極,以及與該假資料線連接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假閘極線具有至少一橋接,使該假閘極線橫跨該些閘極線。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假閘極線與該些閘極線之一連接。
- 如申請專利範圍第12項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該第一區假像素單元包含至少一薄膜電晶體,其中該薄膜電晶體包含與該假閘極線連接的一閘極,以及與該些資料線之一浮接的一汲極或源極。

- 如申請專利範圍第13項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假閘極線穿過該第二區假像素單元。
- 如申請專利範圍第15項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該第二區假像素單元包含至少一薄膜電晶體,該薄膜電晶體包含與該假閘極線連接的一閘極,以及與該假資料線連接的一汲極或源極。
- 如申請專利範圍第16項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假閘極線具有至少一橋接,使該假閘極線橫跨該些閘極線。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之顯示面板結構,其中,該假像素單元包含一第一薄膜電晶體及一第二薄膜電晶體。
