Claims (22)
- 배터리 셀의 온도-민감 영역에서 온도를 관리하도록 구성된 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템에 있어서,
배터리 셀의 충전 및 방전을 제어하도록 구성된 배터리 관리 제어기;
열전 디바이스로 전달된 전기 전력을 제어하도록 구성된 열전 관리 제어기로서, 상기 열전 디바이스는 상기 열전 디바이스로의 전기 전력의 인가 시 메인 표면 및 폐기 표면 사이에서 열 에너지를 전달하도록 구성되고, 상기 열전 디바이스의 메인 표면은 버스 바(bus bar)에 부착되며, 상기 버스 바는 상기 배터리 셀의 전기 도체와 실질적인 열 연통(thermal communication)을 하고, 상기 전기 도체는 상기 배터리 셀로 또는 그로부터 전기 전력을 전달하도록 구성되며, 상기 전기 도체는 상기 배터리 셀의 온도-민감 영역 및 상기 열전 디바이스 사이에서 열 에너지를 도전시키기 위한 도관으로서 작용하는, 상기 열전 관리 제어기;
상기 배터리 셀을 밀폐시키는 배터리 인클로저(battery enclosure); 및
상기 배터리 관리 제어기, 상기 열전 관리 제어기, 및 상기 배터리 관리 제어기 및 상기 열전 관리 제어기 사이에서의 데이터 연결을 포함한 인쇄 회로 기판으로서, 상기 배터리 인클로저 내에 위치되며 상기 열전 디바이스에 전기 전력을 공급하기 위한 전력 연결을 포함하는, 상기 인쇄 회로 기판을 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 열전 관리 제어기와 전기 통신하며 상기 열전 디바이스에 제공된 전기 전류의 극성을 제어하도록 구성된 제어기를 포함하며, 전기 전류의 제1 극성은 시스템 동작의 냉각 모드에서 제공되며 상기 전기 전류의 제1 극성과 반대인 제2 극성은 시스템 동작의 가열 모드에서 제공되는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 관리 제어기는 상기 배터리 셀에 대한 제어 기능들을 관리하도록 구성되는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템.

- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 버스 바는 상기 인쇄 회로 기판 및 상기 전기 도체에 상기 버스 바를 장착하기 위한 하나 이상의 장착 홀을 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템.

상기 인쇄 회로 기판에 부착된 전력 연결로부터 상기 열전 디바이스에 전기 전력을 공급하는 단계를 포함하되,
상기 열전 디바이스는 상기 열전 디바이스로의 전기 전력의 인가 시 메인 표면 및 폐기 표면 사이에서 열 에너지를 전달하도록 구성되고;
상기 열전 디바이스의 메인 표면은 버스 바와 물리적으로 접촉하며;
상기 버스 바는 상기 배터리 셀의 전극과 열 및 전기 통신하고;
상기 전극은 상기 배터리 셀로 또는 그로부터 전기 전력을 전달하고 상기 배터리 셀의 온도-민감 영역 및 상기 열전 디바이스 사이에서 열 에너지를 도전시키기 위한 도관으로서 작용하도록 구성되며;

상기 열전 디바이스에 전기 전력을 공급하기 위해 상기 열전 디바이스에 상기 인쇄 회로 기판상에 위치된 전력 연결을 연결하는 단계를 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템을 제조하는 방법. - 제18항에 있어서, 상기 열전 디바이스를 수용하도록 구성된 컷아웃부를 상기 인쇄 회로 기판에 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템을 제조하는 방법.
- 제18항 또는 제19항에 있어서, 상기 인쇄 회로 기판에 블로어 및 덕트 조립체를 부착하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 블로어 및 덕트 조립체는 상기 열전 디바이스의 폐기 표면에 걸쳐 공기를 밀어넣거나 또는 빨아들이도록 구성되고, 상기 블로어 및 덕트 조립체는 상기 블로어 및 덕트 조립체의 블로어로부터의 기류가 상기 배터리 셀의 냉각 요건 또는 가열 요건에 일치하도록 증가되거나 또는 감소되도록 상기 배터리 관리 시스템 및 열전 관리 시스템 중 적어도 하나가 시스템 효율을 최적화하도록 구성되게끔 상기 배터리 관리 시스템 및 열전 관리 시스템 중 적어도 하나와 전기 통신하는 제어기를 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템을 제조하는 방법.
- 제18항 또는 제19항에 있어서, 상기 인쇄 회로 기판 및 전기 도체에 상기 버스 바를 장착하는 단계를 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템을 제조하는 방법.
- 제18항 또는 제19항에 있어서, 인클로저 내에 상기 배터리 셀을 밀봉시키는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 인클로저는 윈도우 밖에 위치된 폐열 제거 시스템의 일 부분 및 상기 열전 디바이스의 상기 폐기 표면 사이에서의 실질적인 열 연통을 위한 액세스를 제공하도록 구성된 상기 열전 디바이스에 인접한 상기 윈도우를 포함하는, 열전 배터리 열 관리 시스템을 제조하는 방법.
