Claims (8)
- 제1 기판과,상기 제1 기판에 대향하여 설치되고, 표면에 요철이 형성된 제2 기판과,상기 제2 기판 위에 상기 요철을 피복하도록 형성되고, 컨택트홀을 통하여 상기 제2 기판 위에 형성된 스위칭 소자와 전기적으로 접속되고, 상기 요철에 대응한 요철을 갖는 반사 전극과,상기 제1 기판과 제2 기판 사이에 설치된 마이너스의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정층으로 이루어지는 수직 배향 모드의 반사형 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 컨택트홀을 상기 반사 전극의 중심에 배치하고, 또한 상기 제2 기판을 이것에 수직인 방향에서 본 경우에, 상기 컨택트홀에 중첩되는 위치에, 액정층 내 액정 분자의 배향을 제어하는 구조물을 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 구조물은, 상기 제2 기판에 수직인 방향에서 본 경우, 상기 컨택트홀의 크기와 동일한 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 구조물은, 상기 반사 전극에 상기 컨택트홀에 의해 형성되는 단차에 대응하는 높이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 액정 표시 장치.
