Abstract
Description
각 영역에 형성된 요철간의 장축 방향이 서로 교차하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2 배향막은 배향처리 되지 않음을 특징으로 한다.
상기 반사전극은 고 반사 특성을 갖는 금속으로 형성됨을 특징으로 한다.
상기 반사전극은 투명 도전성 물질로 형성됨을 특징으로 한다.
상기 화소영역은 4개의 영역으로 나뉘는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Claims (17)
- 적어도 2개 이상의 영역으로 구분되는 화소영역을 갖는 제 1 기판과;상기 제 1 기판상에 형성되며, 서로 수직교차하는 장축 및 단축을 갖는 복수개의 타원형 돌기들을 포함하는 반사전극과;상기 반사전극상에 형성되며, 배향처리되지 않은 제 1 배향막과;상기 제 1 기판과 대향하는 제 2 기판과;상기 제 2 기판상에 형성되며, 배향처리되지 않은 제 2 배향막과;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이에 형성된 액정층을 포함하며;상기 각 영역에 형성된 타원형 돌기들은 서로 불규칙한 간격으로 배열되어 있으며;동일 영역에 형성된 타원형 돌기들의 장축들이 서로 평행하며, 서로 다른 영역에 형성된 타원형 돌기의 장축들이 서로 교차하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 기판은 박막트랜지스터 어레이 기판인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판은 칼라필터 어레이 기판인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 수직 배향된 액정을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치.
- 적어도 2개 이상의 영역으로 구분되는 화소영역을 갖는 제 1 기판 및 제 2 기판을 준비하는 단계와;상기 제 1 기판상에 절연막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 절연막 표면에 서로 수직교차하는 장축 및 단축을 갖는 복수개의 타원형 돌기들을 불규칙한 간격으로 형성하되, 동일 영역에 위치한 타원형 돌기들의 장축들이 서로 평행하도록 그리고, 서로 다른 영역에 위치한 타원형 돌기들의 장축들이 서로 수직교차하도록 상기 타원형 돌기들을 형성하는 단계와;상기 타원형 돌기들을 포함한 제 1 기판의 전면에 반사전극을 형성하는 단계와;상기 반사전극상에 배향처리 되지 않은 제 1 배향막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 2 기판상에 배향처리 되지 않은 제 2 배향막을 형성하는 단계와;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 대향시키고, 상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이에 액정층을 형성하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 수직 배향된 액정을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 액정적하방식 또는 액정주입방식으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 반사전극은 반사 특성이 우수한 금속으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티도메인 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
