Description
Claims (12)
- 서로 마주 보고 있는 제1 기판 및 제2 기판,상기 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 주입되어 있는 액정 물질,상기 제1 및 제2 기판 위에 각각 형성되어 있으며 서로 다른 방향의 경사를 갖는 다수의 경사면을 갖는 제1 및 제2 투명 전극을 포함하며,상기 제1 및 제2 투명 전극 중 하나는 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분을 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제1 투명 전극 사이 및 상기 제2 기판과 상기 제2 투명 전극 사이에 각각 형성되어 있으며 서로 다른 방향의 경사를 갖는 다수의 경사면을 갖는 제1 및 제2 유기 절연막을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 제1 또는 제2 유기 절연막 중 하나는 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분을 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 제1 또는 제2 유기 절연막 중 다른 하나는 상기 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분에 대응되는 위치에 형성되어 있는 반구형의 홈을 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에서,상기 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분 및 상기 반구형의 홈의 가운데를 세로로 자른 단면의 호의 길이는 5 - 14 ㎛ 인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제5항에서,상기 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분 및 상기 반구형의 홈의 가장자리의 경사각은 10 - 70°인 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 유기 절연막은 사진 공정이 가능한 재료로 이루어진 액정 표시 장치.
- 액정 표시 장치용 기판 위에 유기 절연막을 도포하는 단계,상기 유기 절연막을 다수의 요철을 가진 형태로 패터닝하는 단계,상기 유기 절연막 위에 투명 전극을 형성하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 유기 절연막을 패터닝하는 단계는 상기 유기 절연막에 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분을 형성하는 단계인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제8항에서,상기 유기 절연막을 패터닝하는 단계는 상기 유기 절연막에 반구형의 홈을 형성하는 단계인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에서,상기 유기 절연막은 사진 공정이 가능한 재료로 형성하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에서,상기 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분 또는 상기 반구형의 홈의 가운데를 세로로 자른 단면의 호의 길이는 5 - 14 ㎛ 로 형성하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제11항에서,상기 반구형으로 튀어나온 부분 및 상기 반구형의 홈의 가장자리의 경사각은 10 - 70°로 형성하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
