Claims (46)
- 대면하는 관계로 설치되는 대향 기판과 결합하여 액정을 개재시키는 기판,상기 기판 위에 형성된 버스선,상기 버스선에 접속된 스위칭 소자, 및스트라이프 형상 전극을 그 사이의 스페이스를 따라 가지며, 상기 스위칭 소자에 접속되고 상기 버스선과 평행하게 설치되는 픽셀 전극을 구비하고,상기 버스선의 부근에 있는 적어도 하나의 스트라이프 형상 전극은 그 내부에 위치하는 전극의 전극 폭보다 더 좁은 전극 폭으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀 전극의 스페이스의 총 면적은 전극 영역의 총 면적의 50% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀 전극은 액정의 배향을 분리하는 복수의 배향 분리 영역 사이의 경계 부근에도 스트라이프 형상 전극과 스페이스를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀 전극은 상기 버스선의 부근에서의 스트라이프 형상 전극의 전극 길이는 그 내부에 위치하는 스트라이프 형상 전극의 전극 길이보다 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 대면하는 관계로 설치되는 대향 기판과 결합하여 액정을 개재시키는 기판,상기 기판 위에 형성되는 버스선,상기 버스선에 접속되는 스위칭 소자, 및스트라이프 형상 전극을 그 사이의 스페이스를 따라 가지며, 상기 스위칭 소자에 접속되고 상기 스위칭 소자와 상기 버스선 사이에 상기 버스선과 평행하게 설치되는 픽셀 전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀 전극은 상기 스위칭 소자에 접속되는 상기 영역에 복수의 스트라이프 형상 전극과 스페이스를 가지며, 적어도 하나의 스트라이프 형상 전극은 상기 접속 영역에서 절단되어 상기 스위치 소자와 상기 스트라이프 형상 전극의 단부 사이에 갭이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 갭은 0.5㎛ 내지 5㎛의 범위 내에 있는 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하 는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 스트라이프 형상 전극의 폭은 0.5㎛ 내지 5㎛의 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 대면하는 관계로 결합되는 어레이 기판과 대향 기판을 구비하여 그 사이에 액정을 밀봉하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치용 기판이 상기 어레이 기판으로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 액정은 네거티브 유전 이방성을 가지며 전압이 인가되지 않은 경우 수직으로 배향되는 액정 분자, 및 액정 구동시에 액정 분자의 프리 틸트각 및/또는 틸트 방향을 결정하기 위한 중합체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,배향 조정 구조체는 적어도 상기 대향 기판 위에 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.

- 대향 배치되는 대향 기판과 함께 액정을 협지하는 기판과,상기 기판상 상의 소정 영역마다 상이한 방향으로 주기적으로 배열된 스트라이프 형상 전극과 스페이스를 구비하고,상기 소정 영역 경계부 부근과 상기 경계부 부근 이외에서 상기 스트라이프 형상 전극의 전극폭 또는 상기 스페이스의 스페이스폭 중 적어도 어느 한쪽이 상이하게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 스트라이프 형상 전극의 전극폭은 상기 소정 영역과 그 자신 사이의 경계 부근에 있는 상기 스페이스의 폭과 동일하거나 또는 보다 좁고, 경계 부근에 있는 영역 이외의 영역에서는 상기 스페이스의 폭과 동일하거나 보다 넓은 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 스트라이프 형상 전극의 전극폭이 연속적으로 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 스트라이프 형상 전극과 상기 스페이스에 의해서 픽셀 전극이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 기판.
- 대면하는 관계로 결합되어 그 사이에 액정을 밀봉하는 어레이 기판과 대향 기판을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,제 17 항 내지 제 20 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치용 기판이 상기 어레이 기판으로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 액정은 네거티브 유전 이방성을 가지며 전압이 인가되지 않는 경우 수직으로 배향되는 액정 분자, 및 상기 액정 분자의 프리 틸트각 및/또는 그의 구동시 틸트 방향을 결정하는 중합체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
