Claims (10)
- ケイ酸塩ガラスであって、
a.アルミナおよび酸化ホウ素の少なくとも一方;および
b.アルカリ金属酸化物およびアルカリ土類金属酸化物の少なくとも1つ、
を含み、
−15モル%≦(R2O+R’O−Al2O3−ZrO2)−B2O3≦4モル%であり、RはLi、Na、K、RbおよびCsの1つであり、R’はMg、Ca、SrおよびBaの1つである、
ことを特徴とするケイ酸塩ガラス。 - 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、約0.7MPam0.5から約1.2MPam0.5までの範囲の強靭性、および約8.5μm−0.5未満の脆弱性を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、アルミナおよび酸化ホウ素をいずれも含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、少なくとも1つのアルカリ金属酸化物を含み、イオン交換性であることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、ナトリウムイオン、銀イオン、カリウムイオン、セシウムイオン、およびルビジウムイオンの少なくとも1つでイオン交換されて、少なくとも約200MPaの表面圧縮応力、および少なくとも約30μmの深さを有する表面圧縮層を有することを特徴とする請求項4記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、少なくとも100キロポアズ(10KPa・s)の液相粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、リチウムを実質的に含まないことを特徴とする請求項6記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、アンチモンとヒ素の酸化物を実質的に含まないことを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、62−70モル%SiO2;0−18モル%Al2O3;0−10モル%B2O3;0−15モル%Li2O;0−20モル%Na2O;0−18モル%K2O;0−17モル%MgO;0−18モル%CaO;および0−5モル%ZrO2を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から8いずれか1項記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記ケイ酸塩ガラスが、64−66重量%SiO2;8−12重量%Al2O3;1−11重量%B2O3;0−5重量%Li2O;6−12重量%Na2O;1−4重量%K2O;0−4重量%MgO;0−6モル%CaO;および0−2重量%ZrO2を含み、20モル%≦R2O+R'O≦24モル%であり、16モル%≦Al2O3+B2O3+ZrO2≦29モル%であることを特徴とする請求項13記載のケイ酸塩ガラス。
