クラッドガラスはコアガラスの少なくとも一部を囲み、コアガラスはクラッドガラスの熱膨張係数より大きい熱膨張係数を有する。溶融クラッドガラスは、約50モル%から約70モル%のSiO2、約5モル%から約12モル%Al2O3、約5モル%から約35モル%のB2O3、1モル%≦Li2O+Na2O+K2O≦15モル%として、Li2O、Na2O及びK2Oの内の少なくとも1つ、約5モル%までのMgO、約5モル%までのCaO、及び約2モル%までのSrOを含有する。

Claims (11)
- SiO2、Al2O3、B2O3を含むとともに、Li2O、Na2O、およびK2Oの少なくとも1つを含み、イオン交換されており、少なくとも約40Nのヌープスクラッチ発生閾値を有するガラス。
- 約75×10−7/℃以下の熱膨張係数を有する請求項1記載のガラス。
- 約55×10−7/℃以下の熱膨張係数を有する請求項2記載のガラス。
- 約60モル%から約70モル%のSiO2、約5モル%から約12モル%のAl2O3、約5モル%から約35モル%のB2O3、1モル%≦Li2O+Na2O+K2O≦15モル%として、Li2O、Na2O及びK2Oの内の少なくとも1つ、約5モル%までのMgO、約5モル%までのCaO、及び約2モル%までのSrOを含む、請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のガラス。
- SnO2、CeO2、As2O3、Sb2O3、Cl−、F−の少なくとも1つを含む少なくとも1つの清澄剤をさらに含有する、請求項4記載のガラス。
- 前記少なくとも1つの清澄剤が約0.5モル%までのSnO2、約0.5モル%までのAs2O3、および、約0.5モル%までのSb2O3の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項5記載のガラス。
- 4モル%≦MgO+CaO+SrO+Li2O+Na2O+K2O≦Al2O3+4モル%である、請求項4から6いずれか1項記載のガラス。
- 4モル%≦B2O3−MgO+CaO+SrO+Li2O+Na2O+K2O−Al2O3≦35モル%である、請求項4から7いずれか1項記載のガラス。
- 約62モル%から約68モル%のSiO2、6モル%より多く約10モル%までのAl2O3、約6モル%から約20モル%のB2O3、約4モル%までのMgO、約4モル%までのCaO、及び約1モル%までのSrOを含み、任意に少なくとも1つの清澄剤を含み、6モル%≦Li2O+Na2O+K2O≦13モル%である、請求項4から8いずれか1項記載のガラス。
- 4モル%≦B2O3−(MgO+CaO+SrO+Li2O+Na2O+K2O−Al2O3)≦20モル%である、請求項4から9いずれか1項記載のガラス。
- 少なくとも70Kポアズの液相線粘度を有する、請求項1から10いずれか1項記載のガラス。
