      It was a little slow in the beginning and then became an interesting story about a twisted woman and the destruction of two families with a great ending.

      You could pretty much guess what sorta happened from the beginning, but there was different twist and a mystery that kept you going.

      I love this book but I thought it was really slow to start and from my point of you I felt like if I read it instead of listen to the audiobook I would’ve gotten through it faster but also I was gifted this book so I didn’t purchase it but it was decent

      Pretty good. I did guess the ending halfway through the book. So I was hoping I'd be wrong and there'd be some great twist I wasn't expecting but it was still a good read.

      I’m giving it 4/5 stars only because it was scary! But I loved it for sure! At the beginning I was not so sure but, the development of the characters and how you discover their secrets it’s just amazing and creepy for some. Such a page turner.

      This is a slow-burn mystery and family drama. It’s about families and adjustments after the unthinkable happens. Fifteen year old Ellie Mack disappears without a trace. There is pain, but remarkable strength. There is deception and there is honesty. The book is written in parts, outlining different periods in the story. There is also a big surprise in the story and I didn’t see it coming. There are some twists and turns, some I did see coming.

      Normally, I don’t like slow burn mysteries, but I did enjoy this one because of the characters. The characters were fleshed out beautifully and I felt their pain and triumphs.

      There were a couple issues that seemed implausible to me, but I got caught up in the story and went with the flow. I very much enjoyed he book.
