Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 배선부, 화소 전극들, 스위칭 소자들 및 주상 스페이서가 설치된 제 1 기판으로서, 상기 배선부는 복수의 신호선들과 복수의 주사선들이 서로 교차함으로써 형성되고, 상기 화소 전극들은 상기 신호선들과 상기 주사선들로 구획되는 영역들에 각각 설치되며, 상기 스위칭 소자는 상기 화소 전극들과 결합되고, 상기 주상 스페이서는 상기 배선부 상에 설치되는, 제 1 기판;상기 제 1 기판에 면하도록 배치되는 공통 전극을 가진 제 2 기판으로서, 상기 공통 전극은 십자-형 제 1 배향 규제물이 설치되는, 제 2 기판; 및상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판 사이에 배치되는 음의 유전 이방성이 있는 액정층을 포함하고,상기 십자-형 제 1 배향 규제물은, 전압이 상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 인가될 때, 상기 액정층의 액정 분자들의 배향을 규제하도록 배열되며,상기 배선부에는, 상기 십자형의 제 1 배향 규제물의 가로 방향의 변의 연장상에, 또한, 이웃하는 2 개의 상기 십자형의 제 1 배향 규제물의 중간 위치에 상기 주상 스페이서가 배치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극은 복수의 부-화소 전극들이 연속적으로 설치되고, 복수의 상기 제 1 배향 규제물들은 상기 부-화소 전극을 면하도록 배치되는 구조를 가진, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극은 대칭적 형태를 가지는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주상 스페이서는 상기 주상 스페이서가 상기 배선부의 상기 신호선 상에 겹치는 위치에 설치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주상 스페이서는 상기 주상 스페이서가 상기 배선부의 상기 주사선 상에 겹치는 위치에 설치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주상 스페이서는 상기 제 2 기판 상에 설치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주상 스페이서는 상기 제 1 기판 상에 설치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통 전극상에 설치되는 상기 제 1 배향 규제물은 상기 공통 전극의 전극 부재부인, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 전극 부재부는 6 ㎛ 이상, 12 ㎛ 이하로 설정되는 폭을 가지는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통 전극 상에 설치되는 상기 제 1 배향 규제물은 돌기형 구조인, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 액정 분자들의 배향 규제를 위한 돌기형 구조인 제 2 배향 규제물은, 상기 제 2 배향 규제물이 상기 신호선 또는 상기 주사선 상에 겹치고 상기 주상 스페이서 옆에 위치하는, 상기 공통 전극 상에 형성되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 액정 분자들의 배향 규제를 위한 돌기형 구조인 제 2 배향 규제물은 상기 주상 스페이서 옆에 있는 상기 신호선 또는 상기 주사선 상에 형성되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 주상 스페이서는 감광성 아크릴 수지에 의해 형성되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향 규제물은 감광성 아크릴 수지를 이용함으로써 형성되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 배향 규제물은 감광성 아크릴 수지를 이용함으로써 형성되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 기판을 통해 입사하는 광을 반사하는 반사부는, 상기 화소 전극을 포함하는 화소 영역에서 상기 제 1 기판 상에 설치되는, 수직 배향 액정 표시 장치.
