Claims (50)

- 2.前記生物学的材料が、哺乳類細胞、細胞凝集物、および細胞組織からなる群 から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.生物学的に活性な分子が、100より少ないアミノ酸からなるペプチド、1 00またはそれより多いアミノ酸からなるタンパク質、多糖、核酸、有機薬物、 および無機薬物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 4.前記フリーラジカル重合可能置換基が炭素−炭素2重結合または3重結合を 有する、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 13.前記重合開始剤が、エリトロシン、フロキシン、およびチオニンからなる 群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 14.前記触媒または促進剤がアミンである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 15.前記アミンが、トリエタノールアミン、トリエチルアミン、エタノールア ミン、N−メチルジエタノールアミン、N,N−ジメチルベンジルアミン、ジベ ンジルアミン、N−ベンジルエタノールアミン、N−イソプロピルベンジルアミ ン、テトラメチルエチレンジアミン、リジン、オルニチン、ヒスチジンおよびア ルギニンからなる群から選択される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 16.重合が320と800nmとの間の波長を有する光で開始される、請求項 1に記載の方法。
- 17.前記光が514nmまたは365nmの波長を有する、請求項16または 2に記載の方法。
- 18.哺乳類細胞、哺乳類細胞凝集物、または哺乳類組織を光感応性光開始剤の 溶液と接触させて該哺乳類細胞、哺乳類細胞凝集物、または哺乳類組織に該光開 始剤を結合させ、そして該開始剤をポリマーまたはオリゴマーと接触させる前に 結合していない開始剤を除く、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 19.前記結合していない開始剤が、前記哺乳類細胞、哺乳類細胞凝集物、また は哺乳類組織の表面のみで重合が起こるように、マクロマー溶液を用いた希釈に よって除去される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 20.前記マクロマー溶液が形状化され、次いで重合される、請求項1に記載の 方法。
- 21.ゲルが支持構造を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 22.カプセル化された材料の周囲に所望の透過性を生じるように、ポリマーが 選択され、そして重合が制御される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 23.前記マクロマー溶液の重合が組織を他の組織または細胞と接着させる、請 求項1に記載の方法。

- 30.前記基体が開始剤で処理され、前記結合していない開始剤が除去され、前 記マクロマーが基体に付与され、そして重合される、請求項27に記載の方法。

- 32.少なくとも2つのフリーラジカル重合可能置換基が共有結合的に結合され た生体適合性の水溶性マクロマーのフリーラジカル重合によって調製されるポリ マーから形成される組織内腔上のコーティング。
- 33.前記組織内腔が血管である、請求項32に記載のコーテイング。
- 34.ポリマー性コーティングを組織または細胞に付与する方法であって、光開 始剤を該組織または細胞に適用すること、結合していない該開始剤を除去するこ と、少なくとも2つのフリーラジカル重合可能置換基を含む水溶性マクロマー溶 液を該細胞または組織に付与すること、および該溶液を可視光または長波長の紫 外光にさらすことを包含する方法。

- 39.前記生物学的材料が、哺乳類組織、哺乳類細胞の初代または確立系(膵臓 ランゲルハンス島細胞、ヒト包皮線維芽細胞、チャイニーズハムスター卵巣細胞 、ベータ細胞島細胞腫、リンパ芽球白血病細胞、マウス3T3線維芽細胞、ドー パミン分泌中脳腹側細胞、神経芽細胞様細胞、副腎髄質細胞、およびT細胞から 必要に応じて選択される)、細胞下小器官、および細胞下非小器官成分から選択 される、請求項35に記載の方法。

- 47.前記生物学的材料が、哺乳類組織、哺乳類細胞の初代または確立系(膵臓 ランゲルハンス島細胞、ヒト包皮線維芽細胞、チャイニーズハムスター卵巣細胞 、ベータ細胞島細胞腫、リンパ芽球白血病細胞、マウス3T3線維芽細胞、ドー パミン分泌中脳腹側細胞、神経芽細胞様細胞、副腎髄質細胞、およびT細胞から 必要に応じて選択される)、細胞下小器官、および細胞下非小器官成分から選択 される、請求項43に記載の方法。
- 48.前記生物学的材料が、必要に応じてヘモグロビンであるタンパク質、多糖 、オリゴヌクレオチド、必要に応じてにアデノシンデアミナーゼである酵素、酵 素系、細菌、微生物、ビタミン、コファクター、血液凝固因子、必要に応じてT PA、ストレプトキナーゼおよびヘパリンから選択される薬物、免疫原、ホルモ ン、およびレトロウイルスから選択される、請求項43に記載の方法。
- 49.前記生物学的材料が、まずマイクロカプセルにカプセル化される、請求項 43に記載の方法であって、ここで該マイクロカプセルは、アルギン酸塩、キト サン、アガロース、ゼラチン、またはそれらの組み合わせからなるカプセル化材 料に対して無毒性のイオン凝固性または熱凝固性ポリマーで必要に応じて構成さ れる、方法。
- 50.前記マクロマー溶液がさらに、必要に応じてアリル、ビニルまたはアクリ レート基を有する小分子であって、必要に応じてN−ビニルピロリドン、2−ビ ニルピリジン、1−ビニルイミダゾール、9−ビニルカルバゾール、アクリル酸 および2−アリル−2−メチル−1,3−シクロベンタンジオンから選択される 、重合速度を加速するための促進剤を含有する、請求項43に記載の方法。
