Description
前記成形樹脂体の少なくとも上面に設けられ、前記サイドゲート跡が形成された側面に隣接する上面縁部を、前記成形樹脂体の前記上面側から前記サイドゲート跡が見えないように被覆する被覆層と、
前記成形樹脂体の下面に略全面にわたって設けられた加飾層と、を備える成形同時加飾成形品である。
前記第1金型と第2金型との型閉めにより前記成形用空間部を形成した後、該成形用空間部にサイドゲート部から成形樹脂を注入して射出成形品を形成すると同時に前記射出成形品両表面に前記第1転写層及び第2転写層がそれぞれ転写されるように前記第1加飾シート及び第2加飾シートを一体化接着させ、
前記第1金型と第2金型から前記射出成形品を取り出し、前記サイドゲート部により成形されたサイドゲート樹脂形成部を前記射出成形品の厚み方向に対して60°以下となる方向に切断して成型同時加飾成形品とする、成形同時加飾成形品の製造方法である。
また、成形同時加飾成形品は、例えば、透明窓部分を備えた携帯電話機器の樹脂製画面パネルなどとして用いられる。また、画面パネルの透明窓部分は使用者の視線が集まりやすい部分であり、前記サイドゲート跡が目立つこととなる。したがって、前記透明窓部分の近傍にサイドゲート跡が形成されている成形同時加飾成形品に本願発明の構成を採用することにより、被覆層がサイドゲート跡を隠蔽するため、サイドゲート跡を目立たなくすることができる。
成形同時加飾成形品10は、被覆層3及び加飾層4を転写するための2枚の加飾シートを用いて射出成形するため、図5に示すように、当該成形同時加飾成形品10の外形を画定する成形空間部に樹脂を射出するサイドゲート部が設けられている。よって、金型から取り出された直後のものは、側面1cに溶融樹脂射出用のサイドゲート樹脂形成部19が付着している。本実施形態においては、サイドゲート樹脂形成部19が携帯電話機器の画面パネル10aは、透明窓部分50の側方近傍に位置するように構成される。サイドゲート樹脂形成部19は、成形樹脂体1の側面1cに沿って斜めに切断される(図2参照)。すなわち、サイドゲート樹脂形成部19の切断面が斜めになるように、画面パネル10aの厚み方向に対して0〜60゜の角度で切断する。
厚み38μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(易接着処理)からなる基体シート上にメラミン樹脂からなる離型層を形成し、次いでウレタン樹脂系の二液硬化型インキを用いて蒸着アンカー層をグラビア印刷法により形成した。これを120℃で5分間熱処理後、真空蒸着法にて厚み600±50Åのアルミニウム金属膜からなる第1転写層をパターン形成し、次いで塩化ビニル酢酸ビニル共重合体樹脂からなる接着層をグラビア印刷法により形成し、第1加飾シートを得た。同様にして、第2転写層が形成された第2加飾シートを得た。
厚み125μmのアクリルフィルムにアクリル樹脂インキを用いてグラビア印刷法により第1転写層をパターン形成し、次いで塩化ビニル酢酸ビニル共重合体樹脂系の接着層をグラビア印刷法により形成し、第1加飾シートを得た。同様にして、第2転写層が形成された第2加飾シートを得た。
Claims (7)
- 厚み方向に扁平であり、少なくとも1つの側面(1c)にサイドゲート跡(2,2a)が形成された透明な成形樹脂体(1)と、
前記成形樹脂体の少なくとも上面(1a)に設けられ、前記サイドゲート跡が形成された側面(1c)に隣接する上面縁部を、前記成形樹脂体(1)の前記上面側から前記サイドゲート跡(2,2a)が見えないように被覆する被覆層(3)と、
前記成形樹脂体(1)の下面(1b)に略全面にわたって設けられた加飾層(4)と、を備える成形同時加飾成形品。 - 前記サイドゲート跡(2,2a)の前記成形樹脂体の厚み方向寸法が0.4mm以上であり、前記側面上のサイドゲート跡(2,2a)の切断面と前記成形樹脂体の厚み方向とがなす角度が前記成形樹脂体内側に向けて0〜60°である請求項1に記載の成形同時加飾成形品。
- 前記被覆層(3)は、前記サイドゲート跡(2,2a)が形成された前記側面(1c)に隣接する上面縁部全体に形成されている、請求項1に記載の成形同時加飾成形品。
- 前記被覆層(3)は、前記成形樹脂体(1)の側面直交方向かつ厚み方向の断面において、前記側面(1c)から離れた側の前記被覆層の端(3a)と前記側面の下端(4a)とを結ぶ仮想線(40)を想定したとき、当該仮想線(40)と前記成形樹脂体(1)の側縁における厚み方向とがなす角αが45°以上となるように前記成形樹脂体(1)の上面縁部を被覆し、前記成形樹脂体(1)の前記上面側から前記サイドゲート跡(2,2a)が見えないように形成されている、請求項1に記載の成形同時加飾成形品。
- 前記成形樹脂体(1)は、画面部分(50)を備えた樹脂パネルであり、前記サイドゲート跡(2,2a)は、前記画面部分(50)の側方位置に形成されている、請求項1に記載の成型同時加飾成形品。
- 少なくとも第1転写層(35)を備えた第1加飾シート(11)を、前記第1転写層(35)がサイドゲート部(19a)と成形用空間部(17)の境界部分に相当する位置となるように、射出成形金型の第1金型(15)に配置し、少なくとも前記成形用空間部(17)の略全面にわたって存在する第2転写層(35)を備えた第2加飾シート(12)を射出成形金型の第2金型(16)に配置し、
前記第1金型(15)と第2金型(16)との型閉めにより前記成形用空間部(17)を形成した後、該成形用空間部(17)にサイドゲート部(19a)から成形樹脂を注入して射出成形品を形成すると同時に前記射出成形品両表面に前記第1転写層(35)及び第2転写層(35)がそれぞれ転写されるように前記第1加飾シート(11)及び第2加飾シート(12)を一体化接着させ、
前記第1金型(15)と第2金型(16)から前記射出成形品を取り出し、前記サイドゲート部(19a)により成形されたサイドゲート樹脂形成部(19)を前記射出成形品の厚み方向に対して60°以下となる方向に切断して成型同時加飾成形品とする、成形同時加飾成形品の製造方法。 - 前記射出成形品の厚み方向に対して略0°となる方向に切断する、請求項6に記載の成形同時加飾成形品の製造方法。
