Abstract
551,202. Closures for drums, kegs, &c. READS, Ltd., and BROWN, H. Jan. 7, 1942, No. 228. [Class 21] A ring 5 of channel section for securing together flanges on the lid and mouth of a drum, keg &c. has the base of the channel extended at 7 and formed to provide a lug 8 which engages detachably an opening 6. Hooks 10 are provided to facilitate drawing the ends of the ring together. The tongue 7 may have a longitudinal corrugation. Specification 445,364 is referred to.
