[Class 66] A tin, keg, or the like is formed with a con tracted neck 2 to pro vide a seating for en gagement by the flanged wall 3<SP>x</SP> of the lid 3, th body wall above th neck being formed with opposed slots to receive the ends of a lid-retaining bar 6, and if desired also with slots for the reception of ears for the attachment of the bail handle.
