644,949. Casks. METAL CONTAINERS, Ltd. May 26, 1948, No. 14256. [Class 21] A metal cask has attached false ends shaped to provide chimes 8 and rolling rings 9 for engagement with conveyer rails. The ends 7 are secured to the cask and rings 11 are provided between the walls of the cask and ends 7. A girth band 2 provides rolling hoops 3, 4 reinforced by rings 6. A bunghole 5 in the band 2 comprises a tube 14 reinforced by a flanged ring 17. A tapping bush 19 is secured to the walls of the cask and an end 7, and is reinforced by a flanged ring 25.
