“This one’s a killer.” —Erika T. Wurth, author of White Horse
Liz Kerin’s Night’s Edge is a sun-drenched novel about the darkest secrets we hide and how monstrous we can be to the ones we love most.
Having a mom like Izzy meant Mia had to grow up fast. No extracurriculars, no inviting friends over, and definitely no dating. The most important rule: Tell no one of Izzy’s hunger – the kind only blood can satisfy.
But Mia is in her twenties now and longs for a life of her own. One where she doesn’t have to worry about anyone discovering their terrible secret, or breathing down her neck. When Mia meets rebellious musician Jade she dares to hope she’s found a way to leave her home – and her mom – behind.
It just might be Mia’s only chance of getting out alive.
“Night’s Edge is a gruesome and surprisingly heartfelt page-turner.”—Alexis Henderson, author of House of Hunger
A Macmillan Audio production from Tor Nightfire.

It was pretty good. The relationship between Mia & her mother is very realistic of narcissist abuse. I can’t wait to start reading the next one. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

I immensely enjoyed this book. I think the narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. I will confess that I did find the main character to be a little bit whiny, but the story explains why the main character's personality is the way it is. However, the one thing that I did not like was how it ended. I felt like the book sort of dropped me off a cliff, and I am waiting for the next sentence. I hope there is a second book so that I can find out how the story ends. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

It was a good story but too abrupt of an ending, in my opinion. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

This is an amazing story about a girl who has to learn to live and care for her mother, who just became a vampire. The book goes between now and when she was young, showing bits and pieces of her very unnatural life. She has to figure out if she wants to continue to sacrifice everything for her mother or move on and have a life for herself. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5
