Abstract

Un aparato para detectar materia que comprende medios de alimentacion de material a granel (3; 3') configurados para alimentar una pluralidad de objetos (2; 2') en una region de deteccion (D); al menos una fuente de luz (8; 10, 20; 40) que tiene un elemento de enfoque y que esta configurada para iluminar al menos un objeto (2; 2 ') que se mueve en un plano del objeto (P-P) en la region de deteccion (D); y un primer aparato de analisis de la luz (4) dispuesto para detectar luz que ha sido transmitida a traves del objeto. En el metodo asociado, se provoca que el objeto se mueva en el plano y el objeto es iluminado con luz incidente. La luz que ha sido transmitida a traves del objeto y que cae a un plano de medicion (T) es detectada, y se determina un parametro especifico del objeto basado en la luz transmitida detectada.
