Abstract
상기 제조방법에 의해 분산성이 개선된 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물을 제조할 수 있고, 또 이를 이용하여 양극 제조시 전지의 내부저항을 감소시키고, 출력특성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
Description
도 1은 바인더와 양극활물질 표면의 수소 결합을 나타낸 모식도이다.
도 2a 내지 2c는 비교예에서 제조한 양극에 대해 전계 방사형 전자 현미경(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope, FE-SEM)을 이용하여 다양한 관찰배율로 관찰한 사진이다.
도 3a 내지 3c는 실시예 1에서 제조한 양극에 대해 FE-SEM을 이용하여 다양한 관찰배율로 관찰한 사진이다.
도 4는 실시예 1 및 비교예에서 제조한 리튬 이차전지에 대해 상온(25℃)에서의 저항 감소 효과를 관찰한 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 5는 실시예 1 및 비교예에서 제조한 리튬 이차전지에 대해 저온(10℃)에서의 저항 감소 효과를 관찰한 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 6은 실시예 1 및 비교예에서 제조한 양극에 대한 접착력 측정 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 7은 실시예 1 및 비교예에서 제조한 양극에 대한 면저항 측정 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 8은 제조예 3-1 내지 3-6의 양극 형성용 조성물을 이용하여 제조한 양극에서의 위치에 따른 바인더와 활물질간의 접착력을 관찰한 그래프이다.

Claims (20)
- 도전재와 분산제를 용매 중에서 1차 분산시켜 제1분산액을 준비하는 단계;
상기 제1분산액에 분말상의 바인더를 첨가하고 2차 분산시켜 제2분산액을 준비하는 단계; 및
상기 제2분산액에 양극활물질을 첨가하여 혼합하는 단계;를 포함하며,
상기 바인더는 분자 내에 카르복시기, 히드록시기, 에스테르기, 술폰산기 및 글리시딜기로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 수소결합성 관능기를 갖는 불소계 고분자를 포함하며,
상기 바인더는 분자내 수소결합성 관능기를 0.1 내지 1몰%로 포함하는 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 도전재의 평균입경이 양극활물질의 평균입경의 60% 내지 80%인 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 도전재는 1초과의 종횡비를 갖는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 도전재는 양극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 1 내지 20중량부로 사용되는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 분산제는 셀룰로오스계 화합물인 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 분산제는 중량평균 분자량이 2,000,000g/mol 내지 3,000,000g/mol인 카르복시메틸셀룰로오스를 포함하는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 분산제는 양극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 0.1 내지 10중량부로 사용되는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 1차 분산은 회전속도 1,000rpm 내지 5,000rpm으로 제1분산 공정이 수행된 후, 회전속도 10,000rpm 내지 25,000rpm의 제트기류에 의해 제2분산 공정이 수행되는 다단계 분산 공정인 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.

상기 바인더는 200kg/mol 내지 1000kg/mol의 중량평균 분자량을 갖는 불소계 고분자를 포함하는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.

상기 바인더의 평균입경이 0.3 내지 0.7㎛인 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.

상기 바인더는 양극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 1 내지 30중량부로 포함되는 것인 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 분말상의 바인더 첨가 후 2차 분산 전에 용매를 더 첨가하는 공정을 포함하는 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물의 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항, 제10항 및 제13항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 제조방법에 의해 제조된 리튬 이차전지의 양극 형성용 조성물.
- 제16항에 따른 양극 형성용 조성물을 이용하여 제조되며,
양극활물질, 도전재, 분말상 바인더 및 분산제를 포함하고, 상기 분말상 바인더는 양극활물질 및 도전재와 점 접촉하고 있는 리튬 이차전지용 양극.
- 제17항에 따른 양극을 포함하는 것인 리튬 이차전지.
- 제18항에 따른 리튬 이차전지를 단위셀로 포함하는 전지모듈.
- 제19항에 따른 전지모듈을 포함하는 전지팩.
