그러한 캐소드활성물질에서, 리튬·코발트 복합 산화물보다 평균방전 전압이 0.05V 이상 낮은 리튬 전이금속 복합산화물을 혼합하고, 캐소드활성물질로서 이용되는 것에 의해 방전 말기에 있어서의 캐소드 전위가 낮아지고, 과방전에 대해 사실상 저항성이 개선된다.
제 2리튬 전이금속-복합산화물을 사용한 것을 제외하고는 비수전해질 이차전지는 실시예 1과 동일하게 제조되었다.
Claims (17)
- 적어도 Ni 과 Co 를 포함하며 층상구조를 이루는 제 1캐소드물질과 적어도 Ni 와 Mn 을 포함하며 층상구조를 이루는 제 2캐소드물질의 혼합물을 가지며,상기 제 1캐소드물질은 다음의 화학식(1)으로 표현되는 제 1리튬-전이금속 복합산화물이고,상기 제 2캐소드물질은 다음의 화학식(2)으로 표현되는 제 2리튬-전이금속 복합산화물:LixNi1-y-zCoyMzO2 ...(1)(M은 하나 이상의 전이금속 또는 주기율표의 2,3 및 4족으로부터 선택된 원소이고, x,y 및 z는 각각 0.9≤x≤1.10, 0.05≤y≤0.50, 0.01≤z≤0.10 을 만족한다.), 그리고LisNi1-t-uMntM'uO2 ...(2)(M'은 하나 이상의 전이금속 또는 주기율표의 2,3 및 4족으로부터 선택된 원소이고, s,t 및 u는 각각 0.9≤s≤1.10, 0.05≤t≤0.50, 0.01≤u≤0.30 을 만족한다.)인 것을 특징으로 하는 캐소드활성물질.
- 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1캐소드물질과 상기 제 2캐소드물질의 각 혼합비가 전체 캐소드활성물질에 대하여 15중량% 이상 85중량% 이하로 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 캐소드활성물질.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제 1캐소드물질과 상기 제 2캐소드물질의 각 평균입자크기가 2㎛ 이상 30㎛ 이하의 범위에서 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 캐소드활성물질.
- 캐소드전류콜렉터가 캐소드활성물질을 포함하는 캐소드활성물질 화합물층으로 코팅되어 구성되는 캐소드와,애노드전류콜렉터가 애노드활성물질을 포함하는 애노드활성물질 화합물층으로 코팅되어 구성되는 애노드와,비수전해질을 포함하며,상기 캐소드활성물질은 적어도 Ni 과 Co 를 포함하고 층상구조를 가지는 제 1캐소드물질과 적어도 Ni 과 Mn 을 포함하고 층상구조를 가지는 제 2캐소드물질의 혼합물로 구성되며,상기 제 1캐소드물질은 다음의 화학식(3)으로 표현되는 제 1리튬-전이금속 복합산화물이고,상기 제 2캐소드물질은 다음의 화학식(4)으로 표현되는 제 2리튬-전이금속 복합산화물:LixNi1-y-zCoyMzO2 ...(3)(M은 하나 이상의 전이금속 또는 주기율표의 2,3 및 4족으로부터 선택된 원소이고, x,y 및 z는 각각 0.9≤x≤1.10, 0.05≤y≤0.50, 0.01≤z≤0.10 을 만족한다.), 그리고LisNi1-t-uMntM'uO2 ...(4)(M'은 하나 이상의 전이금속 또는 주기율표의 2,3 및 4족으로부터 선택된 원소이고, s,t 및 u는 각각 0.9≤s≤1.10, 0.05≤t≤0.50, 0.01≤u≤0.30 을 만족한다.)인 것을 특징으로 하는 비수전해질 이차전지.
- 삭제
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제 1캐소드물질과 상기 제 2캐소드물질의 각 혼합비가 전체 캐소드활성물질에 대하여 15중량% 이상 85중량% 이하로 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비수전해질 이차전지.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 제 1캐소드물질과 상기 제 2캐소드물질의 각 평균입자크기가 2㎛ 이상 30㎛ 이하의 범위에서 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비수전해질 이차전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 캐소드활성물질은, 층상구조를 가지고 성분으로서 적어도 리튬과 니켈을 포함하는 리튬복합산화물을 포함하고, 그리고 전체 리튬양의 50% 가 추출되었을 때 X-선 흡수미세구조(XAFS)분석기술을 이용하는 측정에 의해서 니켈-K 껍질 흡수에지의 점프높이의 50% 위치의 이동폭이 1.0eV 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 비수전해질 이차전지용 캐소드활성물질.
- 제 9항에 있어서,상기 리튬복합산화물이 망간 및/또는 티타늄을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 캐소드활성물질.
- 리튬이온을 삽입하고 추출할 수 있는 물질로 이루어진 캐소드활성물질과 애노드활성물질로 구성된 각각의 캐소드와 애노드, 그리고 리튬 전도성을 가지는 비수전해질을 가지는 리튬이온 비수전해질 이차전지에서, 상기 캐소드활성물질은 층상구조를 가지고 성분으로서 리튬, 니켈, 및 망간/티타늄을 포함하는 리튬복합산화물로 구성되고, 상기 캐소드활성물질에서 니켈의 양이 몰 비 5% ~ 40% 범위에서 조절되며, 몰 비 리튬:니켈:망간/티타늄=x:y:z에 있어서 x, y 및 z는 각각 0.5≤x≤0.6, 0.2≤y≤0.4, 0.2≤z≤0.3이고 x+y+z=1을 만족하며, 전체 니켈양의 50% 가 추출되었을 때 X-선 흡수미세구조(XAFS)분석기술을 이용하는 측정에 의해서 니켈-K 껍질 흡수에지의 점프높이의 50% 위치의 이동폭이 1.0eV 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 비수전해질 이차전지.

- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 캐소드활성물질은 리튬과 코발트를 포함하고 층상구조를 가지는 제 1리튬-전이금속 복합산화물과, 층상구조를 가지며 0.2C의 전류에서 4.25V ~3.00V 범위로 낮아지는 방전으로부터 발생되는 평균방전전압이 제 1복합산화물보다 0.05V 이상 낮은 제 2리튬-전이금속 복합산화물로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 비수전해질 이차전지용 캐소드활성물질.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 제 2리튬-전이금속 복합산화물이 몰 비 4% ~ 50% 범위에서 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 캐소드활성물질.
