Claims (40)
- 무선 단말기를 동작시키는 방법으로서,송신될 데이터에 대응하는 지연 정보를 결정하는 단계로서, 상기 지연 정보는 적어도 송신 데드라인에 대한 최소 지연을 포함하는, 상기 결정하는 단계; 및상기 결정된 지연 정보의 적어도 일부를 기지국으로 통신하는 단계를 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 송신 데드라인에 대한 최소 지연은 제 1 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 1 최소 지연이고, 상기 제 1 최소 지연은 제 1 송신큐에서 대기중인 상기 무선 단말기에 의해 송신될 데이터에 대응하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 송신 데드라인까지 상기 제 1 송신큐로부터 데이터가 송신되지 않는 경우, 상기 제 1 송신큐로부터 적어도 하나의 패킷을 드롭하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 지연 정보를 결정하는 단계는,제 2 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 2 최소 지연을 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 상기 제 2 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 2 최소 지연은 제 2 송신큐에서 대기중인 상기 무선 단말기에 의해 송신될 데이터에 대응하고,상기 결정된 지연 정보의 적어도 일부를 기지국으로 통신하는 단계는,상기 제 1 최소 지연 및 상기 제 2 최소 지연을 상기 기지국으로 통신하는 단계를 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 송신큐 및 상기 제 2 송신큐는 상이한 트래픽 흐름들에 대응하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 송신큐는 음성 트래픽 흐름에 대응하고, 상기 제 2 송신큐는 비-음성 트래픽 흐름에 대응하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 최소 지연은 상기 제 2 최소 지연보다 자주 리포팅되는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,송신 대기중인 데이터의 양을 가리키는 백로그 정보를 통신하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.

- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 송신 대기중인 데이터의 양을 가리키는 백로그 정보를 통신하는 단계는,송신될 데이터의 프레임 카운트들과 지연 정보를 공동으로 코딩 (jointly coding) 하는 단계; 및무선 통신 링크를 통해 상기 공동으로 코딩된 정보를 송신하는 단계를 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,통신 대기중인 복수의 데이터 송신 스트림들에 대응하는 정보의 양을 가리키는 합계 백로그 값을 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,타이밍 제약을 만족시키고, 송신 대기중인 백로그의 양을 가리키는 타이밍 제약된 백로그 양을 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 결정된 타이밍 제약된 백로그 양을 기지국으로 통신하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기 동작 방법.
- 송신될 데이터에 대응하는 지연 정보를 결정하는 송신 지연 결정 모듈로서, 상기 지연 정보는 적어도 송신 데드라인에 대한 최소 지연을 포함하는, 상기 송신 지연 결정 모듈; 및상기 송신 지연 결정 모듈에 의해 결정된 지연 정보의 적어도 일부를 기지국으로 송신하는 무선 송신기 모듈을 포함하는, 무선 단말기.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,송신될 데이터를 저장하는 제 1 송신큐; 및상기 송신 데드라인에 대한 최소 지연을 포함하는 상기 결정된 지연 정보를 포함한 큐 통계치를 저장하는 메모리를 더 포함하고,상기 송신 데드라인에 대한 최소 지연은 제 1 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 1 최소 지연이고, 상기 제 1 최소 지연은 상기 제 1 송신큐에서 대기중인 상기 무선 단말기에 의해 송신될 데이터에 대응하는, 무선 단말기.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 송신 데드라인까지 상기 제 1 송신큐로부터 데이터가 송신되지 않는 경우, 상기 제 1 송신큐로부터 적어도 하나의 패킷을 드롭하는 큐 관리 모듈을 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,송신될 데이터를 저장하는 제 2 송신큐를 더 포함하고,상기 결정된 지연 정보를 포함하는 상기 큐 통계치는, 제 2 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 2 최소 지연을 더 포함하고, 상기 제 2 패킷 송신 데드라인에 대한 제 2 최소 지연은 상기 제 2 송신큐에서 대기중인 상기 무선 단말기에 의해 송신될 데이터에 대응하고,상기 무선 송신기 모듈은 상기 제 1 최소 지연 및 상기 제 2 최소 지연을 상기 기지국으로 송신하기 위한 것인, 무선 단말기.

- 제 15 항에 있어서,송신 대기중인 데이터의 양을 가리키는 정보를 발생시키는 백로그 정보 발생 모듈을 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,송신될 데이터의 프레임 카운트들과 지연 정보를 공동으로 코딩하는 코딩 모듈을 더 포함하는, 무선 단말기.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,송신 대기중인 데이터의 총량을 결정하는 데이터 유닛 카운트 합계 모듈을 더 포함하고, 상기 데이터는 복수의 상이한 데이터 송신 스트림들에 대응하는, 무선 단말기.
