Abstract
Description
Claims (25)
- 복굴절성을 나타내는 사슬상 폴리머를 배향시킨 단층 필름으로 이루어지고,상기 폴리머가 측쇄 (a) 로서 하기 일반식 (Ⅰ) 로 표시되는 기를 갖고, 적어도 파장 450∼650㎚ 에 있어서의 면내 위상차가 단파장측일수록 작고, 또한 장파장측일수록 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차판.(일반식 (Ⅰ) 중, 2 개의 산소 원자는, 주쇄를 구성하는 원자에 각각 결합한다. R1, R2 는 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자, 탄소수 1∼8 의 알킬기, 또는 방향족기를 나타낸다. 단, R1 및 R2 중 적어도 어느 일방은 방향족기이며, R1, R2, 또는 R1 및 R2 의 방향족기는, 그 평면 구조가 상기 2 개의 산소 원자를 연결한 가상선과 직교하는 방향에 배치하고 있다).
- 복굴절성을 나타내는 사슬상 폴리머를 배향시킨 단층 필름으로 이루어지고,상기 폴리머가 측쇄 (a) 로서 하기 일반식 (Ⅱ) 또는 일반식 (Ⅲ) 로 표시되는 기 중 적어도 어느 일방을 갖고, 적어도 파장 450∼650㎚ 에 있어서의 면내 위상차가 단파장측일수록 작고, 또한 장파장측일수록 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차판.(일반식 (Ⅱ) 중, 2 개의 산소 원자는, 주쇄를 구성하는 원자에 각각 결합한다. R3 은, 수소 원자 또는 탄소수 1∼8 의 알킬기를 나타낸다. R4 및 R8 은 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 알킬기, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 알콕실기, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 티오알콕실기, 할로겐, 니트로기, 아미노기, 수산기 또는 티올기를 나타낸다 (단, R4 및 R8 은 동시에 수소 원자는 아니다). R5, R6 및 R7 은 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자 또는 치환기를 나타낸다).(일반식 (Ⅲ) 중, 2 개의 산소 원자는, 주쇄를 구성하는 원자에 각각 결합한다. R3 은, 수소원자 또는 탄소수 1∼8 의 알킬기를 나타낸다. A 는 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 나프틸기, 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 안트라닐기, 또는 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 페난트레닐기를 나타낸다. 나프틸기, 안트라닐기, 또는 페난트레닐기를 구성하는 탄소 원자 중 1 이상의 탄소 원자는 질소 원자로 치환되어 있어도 된다).
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 폴리머가 주쇄의 구성 원자에 상기 측쇄 (a) 가 결합한 구조를 하나의 구성 단위로 하고, 이 구성 단위가 이웃하여 배열된 부분을 갖는 위상차판.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 측쇄 (a) 가 측쇄 전량의 1∼50몰% 함유되어 있는 위상차판.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,추가로, 상기 폴리머가 측쇄 (a) 이외에, 측쇄 (b) 로서 수산기를 갖는 위상차판.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 측쇄 (a) 가 측쇄 전량의 1∼50몰%, 상기 측쇄 (b) 가 동일 5∼95몰%, 상기 측쇄 (c) 가 동일 1∼90몰% 함유되어 있는 위상차판.
- 복굴절성을 나타내는 사슬상 폴리머를 배향시킨 단층 필름으로 이루어지고,상기 폴리머가 반복 단위 (A) 로서 하기 일반식 (Ⅴ) 또는 일반식 (Ⅵ) 로 표시되는 구조 중 적어도 어느 하나를 갖고, 적어도 파장 450∼650㎚ 에 있어서의 면내 위상차가 단파장측일수록 작고, 또한 장파장측일수록 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 위상차판.(일반식 (Ⅴ) 중, R3 은, 수소원자 또는 탄소수 1∼8 의 알킬기를 나타낸다. R4 및 R8 은 각각 독립적으로, 수소원자, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 알킬기, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 알콕실기, 탄소수 1∼4 의 직쇄상 또는 분지상의 티오알콕실기, 할로겐, 니트로기, 아미노기, 수산기 또는 티올기를 나타낸다 (단, R4 및 R8 은 동시에 수소 원자는 아니다). R5, R6 및 R7 은 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자 또는 치환기를 나타낸다).(일반식 (Ⅵ) 중, R3 은, 수소 원자 또는 탄소수 1∼8 의 알킬기를 나타낸다. A 는 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 나프틸기, 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 안트라닐기, 또는 치환기를 갖고 있어도 되는 페난트레닐기를 나타낸다. 나프틸기, 안트라닐기, 또는 페난트레닐기를 구성하는 탄소 원자 중 1 이상의 탄소 원자는 질소 원자로 치환되어 있어도 된다).
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 폴리머에 있어서의 반복 단위 (A) 가 폴리비닐알코올의 수산기를 방향족 알데히드로 아세탈화함으로써 얻어진 것인 위상차판.
- 제 1 항, 제 2 항, 제 8 항, 제 12 항 또는 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 위상차판을 적층한 광학 필름.
- 제 1 항, 제 2 항, 제 8 항, 제 12 항 또는 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 위상차판을 갖는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제 15 항에 기재된 광학 필름을 갖는 화상 표시 장치.
