Claims (7)
- 제1 기판과, 제2 기판과, 상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 형성된 액정층을 갖고, 표시를 행하기 위한 복수의 회소 영역을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 복수의 회소 영역 각각은 상기 제1 기판측으로부터 입사되는 광을 이용하여 투과 모드로 표시를 행하는 투과 영역과, 상기 제2 기판측으로부터 입사되는 광을 이용하여 반사 모드로 표시를 행하는 반사 영역을 가지고,상기 제2 기판은 상기 투과 영역 및 상기 반사 영역에 형성된 컬러 필터층과, 투명 기판과 상기 반사 영역의 상기 적어도 일부에서 상기 투명 기판과 상기 컬러 필터층 사이에 형성된 투명 유전체층을 가지며,상기 반사 영역의 적어도 일부에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 두께가 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 두께보다 작으며,상기 반사 영역 하나에 대하여, 상기 투명 유전체층이 복수 배치되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.

- 제1 기판과, 제2 기판과, 상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 형성된 액정층을 갖고, 표시를 행하기 위한 복수의 회소 영역을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치로서,상기 복수의 회소 영역 각각은 상기 제1 기판측으로부터 입사되는 광을 이용하여 투과 모드로 표시를 행하는 투과 영역과, 상기 제2 기판측으로부터 입사되는 광을 이용하여 반사 모드로 표시를 행하는 반사 영역을 가지고,상기 제2 기판은 상기 투과 영역 및 상기 반사 영역에 형성된 컬러 필터층과, 투명 기판과 상기 반사 영역의 상기 적어도 일부에서 상기 투명 기판과 상기 컬러 필터층 사이에 형성된 투명 유전체층을 가지며,상기 반사 영역의 적어도 일부에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 두께가 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 두께보다 작으며,상기 투명 유전체층은 광을 확산하는 기능을 가지는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 액정층의 두께가 상기 반사 영역에서의 상기 액정층의 두께보다 큰 액정 표시 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 반사 영역에서의 상기 제1 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이가 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 제1 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이보다 높은 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 기판은 상기 컬러 필터층을 상기 액정층측에 갖고, 상기 반사 영역의 상기 투명 유전체층이 형성된 상기 적어도 일부에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 높이가 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 컬러 필터층의 높이보다 높고, 그에 의해, 상기 반사 영역에서의 상기 제2 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이가 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 제2 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이보다 높게 되어 있으며, 또한, 상기 반사 영역에서의 상기 제1 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이와, 상기 투과 영역에서의 상기 제1 기판의 상기 액정층측의 표면의 높이가 실질적으로 같은 액정 표시 장치.
