図9は、変形例1に係る電池モジュール1の冷却プレート6を含む領域を拡大して示す断面図である。図9では、電池14の内部構造の図示を省略している。本変形例は、電池積層体2、熱伝導層8および冷却プレート6が拘束部材12で拘束されていない点が実施の形態と異なる。具体的には、拘束部材12は、第1方向における平面部54の両側の端部領域から電池積層体2側に突出し、電池積層体2を第1方向に挟み込む一対の腕部56を有する(図6も参照)。そして、付勢部53は、一方の腕部56と電池積層体2との間に配置され(図7も参照)、他方の腕部56に向けて複数の電池14を付勢する。
図10は、変形例2に係る電池モジュール1の台座76側の領域を拡大して示す断面図である。図10では、電池14の内部構造の図示を省略している。本変形例は、電池積層体2が冷却プレート6ではなく台座76に載置されている点が実施の形態と異なる。具体的には、電池積層体2は、第1方向における他方の端部領域側が電池モジュール1を設置するための台座76に向くようにして台座76に載置される。そして、付勢部53は、台座76に向けて複数の電池14を付勢する。
付勢部53は、各電池14の底面23に当接して、端子配置面20aと対向する腕部56に向けて電池14を付勢してもよい。このような構造によっても、各電池14の端子配置面20aの位置を揃えることができる。この場合、付勢部53は、第3部分52と電池積層体2との間に延在する。
Claims (8)
- 積層された複数の電池を有する電池積層体と、
前記電池積層体に沿って電池の積層方向に延びる平面部を有し、前記複数の電池を前記積層方向に挟み込む金属製の拘束部材と、
絶縁性を有し、前記拘束部材と前記電池積層体とを絶縁するサイドセパレータと、を備え、
前記サイドセパレータは、
前記電池積層体に沿って前記積層方向に延びるとともに前記電池積層体と前記平面部との間に介在する第1部分と、
前記平面部の面内方向で且つ前記積層方向と交わる第1方向における前記第1部分の一方の端部領域から前記電池積層体側に突出し、前記第1方向における前記第1部分の他方の端部領域側に前記複数の電池を付勢する付勢部と、を有し、
前記付勢部は、前記積層方向において各電池に対応する位置に配置される複数の舌片部であって隣り合う各舌片部どうしが互いの間に介在する空間により互いに分離している複数の舌片部と、各舌片部から各電池に向けて突出して各電池に当接する接触部と、を有することを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記複数の電池はそれぞれ、一対の出力端子が配置される端子配置面と、前記端子配置面と対向する底面と、を有し、
前記付勢部は、各電池の前記端子配置面または前記底面に当接する請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池積層体と前記第1方向に配列されるとともに前記第1方向における前記第1部分の他方の端部領域側に配置され、前記電池積層体に熱的に接続される冷却プレートを備え、
前記付勢部は、前記複数の電池を前記冷却プレートに向けて付勢する請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池積層体と前記冷却プレートとの間に介在する絶縁性の熱伝導層を備える請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記拘束部材は、前記第1方向における前記平面部の両側の端部領域から前記電池積層体側に突出し、前記電池積層体および前記冷却プレートを前記第1方向に挟み込む一対の腕部を有し、
前記サイドセパレータは、前記第1部分の前記一方の端部領域から前記電池積層体側に突出するとともに前記電池積層体と一方の前記腕部との間に介在する第2部分と、前記第1部分の前記他方の端部領域から前記電池積層体側に突出するとともに前記冷却プレートと他方の前記腕部との間に介在する第3部分と、を有し、
前記付勢部は、前記第2部分と前記電池積層体との間に延在する請求項3または4に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記拘束部材は、前記第1方向における前記平面部の両側の端部領域から前記電池積層体側に突出し、前記電池積層体を前記第1方向に挟み込む一対の腕部を有し、
前記付勢部は、一方の前記腕部と前記電池積層体との間に配置され、他方の前記腕部に向けて前記複数の電池を付勢する請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記電池積層体は、前記第1方向における前記他方の端部領域側が前記電池モジュールを設置するための台座に向くようにして前記台座に載置され、
前記付勢部は、前記台座に向けて前記複数の電池を付勢する請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記複数の電池はそれぞれ、開口を有する外装缶と、前記開口を塞ぐ封口板と、前記開口および前記封口板を固定する接合部と、を有し、
前記付勢部は、前記封口板における前記接合部の内側の領域に当接する請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
