Description
本発明によれば、下記のいくつかの態様が提供される。
(1) 人体の仙骨と腸骨との間に位置する仙腸関節のために前記人体に移植される仙腸関節用インプラントであって、
長手状本体部を含み、
その長手状本体部は、その長手状本体部の第1端部と第2端部との間に位置する長さを有し、
その長手状本体部は、前記仙腸関節の複数の関節面の間に、それら関節面を横切らないように位置するように構成され、それにより、前記仙骨および前記腸骨を、両者間の相対運動が実質的に阻止された関係を有するように配置する仙腸関節用インプラント。
(2) さらに、第1半径方向部材を含み、その第1半径方向部材は、前記長手状本体部の長軸に沿って延びるとともに、前記仙腸関節の前記複数の関節面の間に、それら関節面を横切らないように位置するように構成されている(1)項に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。
(3) さらに、第2半径方向部材を含み、その第2半径方向部材は、前記長手状本体部の長軸に沿って延びるとともに、前記第1半径方向部材とは概して反対側に配置され、かつ、前記仙腸関節の前記複数の関節面の間に、それら関節面を横切らないように位置するように構成されている(2)項に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。
(4) 当該仙腸関節用インプラントは、形状を有し、その形状のうちの実質的な全部は、前記仙腸関節の前記複数の関節面に、それら関節面を横切らないように係合し、それにより、前記仙骨および前記腸骨を、両者間の相対運動が実質的に阻止された関係を有するように配置する(1)項に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。
(5) 当該仙腸関節用インプラントは、形状を有し、その形状は、前記仙腸関節のうち、切除された被切除部分を置換し、その被切除部分は、前記複数の関節面によって仕切られる領域内に位置する(1)項に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。

- 前記少なくとも一つの穴部は、開口要素を含み、
その開口要素は、当該インプラントの全長の4分の1から3分の2までの範囲内にある長さを有する請求項1に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。 - 前記少なくとも一つの穴部は、前記第1連結部材の高さの4分の1から3分の2までの範囲内にある高さを有する請求項1に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。
- 前記少なくとも一つの穴部は、当該インプラントの全長の4分の1から3分の2までの範囲内にある長さを有し、
さらに、前記少なくとも一つの穴部は、前記第1連結部材の高さ寸法の4分の1から3分の2までの範囲内にある高さを有する請求項1に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。 - 当該インプラントは、自身の前記長さ部に沿った曲がりを、前記第1平面状上面が凹面を形成するとともに前記第2平面状上面が凸面を形成するように有する請求項1に記載の仙腸関節用インプラント。
- 人体の仙骨および腸骨の間の相対運動が実質的に阻止された関係を有するようにそれら仙骨および腸骨を配置するために、仙腸関節の複数の関節面の間にそれら関節面を横切らないように設置される仙腸関節用インプラントであって、
当該インプラントの長さに沿って延びるとともに、第1端部と、その第1端部とは前記長さの方向において反対側に位置する第2端部と、前記当該インプラントの長さに沿って延びる長さとその長さに対して直角な幅とを有する第1平面状上面とを有する第1部材と、
前記第1部材に対して実質的に平行に延びる第2部材と、
当該インプラントの前記長さに沿って延びるとともに、前記第1部材および前記第2部材に互いに連結する連結部材であって、厚さを有するとともに、前記第1平面状上面の前記幅は、当該連結部材の、互いに対向する両側面を超えて延びるものと
を含み、
その連結部材は、
先端部と、
第1縁であって、前記先端部から前記第1部材の前記第1端部まで傾斜して延びるものと、

請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載の仙腸関節用インプラントと、
長手状部材と、
位置合わせツールと
を含み、
前記位置合わせツールは、
部分と、
位置合わせガイドと、
挿入ツールと
を有し、
前記位置合わせツールの前記部分は、前記仙腸関節用インプラントに嵌まり合うように構成されたツール端部を有し、
前記位置合わせガイドは、前記位置合わせツールの前記部分に連結され、
前記挿入ツールは、前記位置合わせガイドと係合し、
前記挿入ツールの、前記位置合わせガイドとの係合は、前記長手状部材が前記挿入ツールによって前進させられると、前記長手状部材が前記仙腸関節および前記仙腸関節用インプラントの前記第1連結部材に対してそれらを横切る姿勢で通過する一方、前記位置合わせツールの前記部分の前記ツール端部が、前記仙腸関節用インプラントに嵌まり合うとともに、前記仙腸関節用インプラントが、前記仙腸関節内に位置決めされるように行われるシステム。 - 前記挿入ツールは、前記長手状部材が前進させられると、前記長手状部材が前記少なくとも一つの穴部を通過するように前記長手状部材を位置合わせするように構成されている請求項10に記載のシステム。
