Description
Claims (23)
- 下記を備える無線通信装置:
少なくとも1つのアンテナ;
複数のパイロットシンボルのパターンを格納するメモリであって、前記複数のパイロットシンボルのパターンの各々は隣接するパイロットシンボルの4つのクラスタを備え、前記4つのクラスタの各々はホップ領域の中心に関して対称であるように位置し、各クラスタ内において、前記隣接するパイロットシンボルのうちの1つのパイロットシンボルのみが前記ホップ領域の端にあるメモリ;および、
前記少なくとも1つのアンテナおよび前記メモリと結合されているプロセッサであって、チャネルの時間選択性あるいは周波数選択性に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのアンテナによる伝送のために、前記格納された複数のパイロットパターンのうちの少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するように構成されているプロセッサ。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記無線通信装置が多入力多出力(MIMO)モードで伝送を受信することになっているかどうかに基づいて、前記プロセッサは、前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するようにさらに構成されている。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性は、前記装置の移動度に応じて決まる。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンが、前記装置のための周波数選択性パイロットパターンを備える。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記メモリが、複数のスカラ関数を備え、前記プロセッサが、前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンにおける前記パイロットシンボルに前記複数のスカラ関数のうちの少なくとも1つを乗算するようにさらに構成されている。 - 請求項5に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記複数のスカラ関数が、スカラ関数のベクトルを備え、各ベクトルが他の各ベクトルに直交する。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記無線通信装置が、最大周波数と最小周波数との間の周波数範囲内の複数の周波数サブキャリアを使用して信号を受信し、前記クラスタがそれぞれ複数のパイロットシンボルを備え、前記クラスタのそれぞれの前記複数のパイロットシンボルの少なくとも1つが、前記最大周波数または前記最小周波数以外の周波数サブキャリアを使用して伝送されるようにする。 - 請求項7に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記周波数範囲が、時間周波数ブロックの周波数範囲を備える。 - 請求項1に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記プロセッサが、前記装置の遅延スプレッドと前記周波数選択性との関係に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するようにさらに構成されている。 - 下記を備える無線通信装置:
複数のパイロットシンボルのパターンを格納するための手段であって、前記複数のパイロットシンボルのパターンの各々は隣接するパイロットシンボルの4つのクラスタを備え、ホップ領域の中心に関して対称であるように位置する前記4つのクラスタの各々は前記無線通信装置によって送信され、各クラスタ内において、前記隣接するパイロットシンボルのうちの1つのパイロットシンボルのみが前記ホップ領域の端にある手段;および
前記格納するための手段に結合されており、チャネルの時間選択性あるいは周波数選択性に基づいて、前記無線通信装置による伝送のために、前記複数のパイロットパターンのうちの少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段。 - 請求項10に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段が、前記無線通信装置が多入力多出力(MIMO)モードで伝送を受信することになっているかどうかに基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段をさらに備える。 - 請求項10に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段が、前記装置の速度に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段をさらに備える。 - 請求項10に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記無線通信装置が、最大周波数と最小周波数との間の周波数範囲内の複数の周波数サブキャリアを使用して信号を受信し、前記クラスタがそれぞれ複数のパイロットシンボルを備え、前記クラスタのそれぞれの前記複数のパイロットシンボルの少なくとも1つが、前記最大周波数または前記最小周波数以外の周波数サブキャリアを使用して伝送されるようにする。 - 請求項13に記載の無線通信装置、ここにおいて、
前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段が、前記装置の遅延スプレッドと前記周波数選択性との関係に基づいて前記少なくとも1つのパイロットパターンを選択するための手段を備える。 - 無線通信システムにおいてパイロットを伝送するための方法、該方法は下記を備える:
ユーザのチャネルの時間選択性あるいは周波数選択性を決定すること;および、
前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性に基づいて、前記ユーザのための隣接するパイロットシンボルの4つのクラスタを有するパイロットパターンを選択することであって、前記4つのクラスタの各々がホップ領域の中心に関して対称であるように位置され、各クラスタ内において、前記隣接するパイロットシンボルのうちの1つのパイロットシンボルのみが前記ホップ領域の端にある、選択すること。 - 前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することが、前記ユーザの速度に基づいて前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することを備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記パイロットパターンを選択することが、前記周波数選択性に対する前記ユーザの前記速度に基づいて前記パイロットパターンを選択することを備える請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記選択することが、前記速度に基づいてパイロットの数を選択することを備える請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することが、前記ユーザの遅延スプレッドに基づいて前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することを備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することが、ドップラースプレッドに基づいて前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性を決定することを備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 通信信号を処理するための命令群で符号化された機械読取可能な媒体であって、前記命令群は下記を備える:
ユーザのチャネルの時間選択性あるいは周波数選択性を決定するためのコード;および
前記チャネルの前記時間選択性あるいは前記周波数選択性に基づいて前記ユーザのためのパイロットパターンを選択するためのコードであって、前記パイロットパターンは複数のパイロットシンボルのパターンから選択され、前記パイロットシンボルのパターンの各々は、隣接するパイロットシンボルの複数のクラスタを備え、前記複数のクラスタの各々がホップ領域の中心に関して対称であるように配置され、各クラスタ内において、前記隣接するパイロットシンボルのうちの1つのパイロットシンボルのみが前記ホップ領域の端にあるコード。 - 請求項15乃至20のうちのいずれか一項に記載された方法をコンピュータに実行させるプログラム。
- 請求項15乃至20のうちのいずれか一項に記載された方法をコンピュータに実行させるプログラムを記録したコンピュータ可読記憶デバイス。
